That's not correct. I've donated for over 7 years to Yosef club. This was my first year getting season tickets though.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:24 pmAlso a problem (A MAJOR ONE). If I'm understanding Smoke correctly, all 500 of those should be new season ticket holders who donated their first year this year. Not that that makes it any better, we should have had parking for anyone who donated enough or we sold too many tickets.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:21 pmIt sounds like 500 people did not get parking....period.

Re: Football Parking 2022
This is my second year with two season tickets, I did not get parking last year, so I increased from $100 level to $350 level to have access to a spot in the bottom three lots, no parking this year either (2600 on the list.) I probably needed to donate at at least the $500 level to have a sniff of a parking spot. I have 34 priority points.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:24 pmAlso a problem (A MAJOR ONE). Extra salty as I just finished up my Graduate degree this year from App as well holding an Undergrad degree. (Can tuition count for priority points?

Re: Football Parking 2022
As I said some months ago, when they charged per seat...I could have stayed in my seats and split my 6 tickets and the amount given would be enough for each ticket to qualify for a parking space. 6 parking passes. It didn't make sense then and it doesn't make sense now. Hopefully it works out for the powers that be. I am excited that football is almost here.....looking forward to this year with the new Sunbelt.

This is my third year as a season ticket holder and I got bumped from Rivers St. to Legends but I knew I was going to.

So you can be bumped. Interesting as someone posted that you couldn’t per policy.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Appstate94 is correct and starting next year it gets even more expensive. From what I'm told you will have to donate per ticket you hold as a season ticket holder. So if I have 6 season tickets in a section that requires a minimum donation of $400 than I have to donate $2400 total.

Re: Football Parking 2022
We don't have any fields that can be parked on.
I don't even think you could pull that off on the intramural fields at State farm area without destroying them.

I don't know how someone can be bumped per policy according to Doug Banks. They may have just started that this year I can't confirm about years prior.

Its likely he got bumped from a higher donor lot by someone who can't get their usual space due to construction etc not by a bigger newer donor

Re: Football Parking 2022
I don’t doubt that could have been the norm in the past. I just don’t see how they could make all of these changes without addressing bumping folks. There are plenty of folks that park below the level that they are eligible for.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Bush league and cowardly. I’m convinced they knew about this all along and waited till now to tell us. I have never had a positive experience dealing with the Yosef Club and I started contributing at a low level back in the 80’s. Gonna cool off a little, but this may be the straw the breaks the camel’s back. North Greenville College is right up the road from where I live and I think they would appreciate my $500/year donation and season ticket purchase more than Yosef does.

Possible. But the original poster stated that bumping was against policy.postalapp90 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:56 pmIts likely he got bumped from a higher donor lot by someone who can't get their usual space due to construction etc not by a bigger newer donor

Re: Football Parking 2022
Bumping is against policy moving forward these bumps probably came from higher donors being bumped during justice lot and stadium deck construction. Unfortunately it sounds like those spots never opened back up or if they did someone leap frogged them due to points and giving amount. I'm not saying they are perfect. I have a friend who was displaced due to construction out of justice lot. They found out that Justice was going to 3500 and had friends that couldn't maintain that giving and wanted to go bump some lower folks out of the music lot. They were told that it wasn't possible even if they gave more and were higher on the priority points list. Music lot was full and the only way someone can get in is if a Music lot donor doesn't pay for their spot. Needless to say these folks are in Justice lot but no longer with friends because the others couldn't pay for the increase.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:58 pmPossible. Re: Football Parking 2022
Personally, I don’t have a problem with bumping. If someone can give more than I do, they deserve the spot. I can donate more or give it up,

Personally, I do. Those "Johnny come lately" fans will be the first to disappear if we start losing. The fans that have those spots have been buying tickets for a long time and should not get bumped. I moved and don't plan to move back. They made their decision and I made mine. No hard feelings but don't come ask for help when it blows up. They better hope we keep winning.

Re: Football Parking 2022
It would be helpful if they would post a full terms and conditions of parking allocation because I have literally never heard of this "no bumping" policy before today. It seems a bit shady to encourage people to donate more when the spots are essentially already spoken for unless someone randomly decides to drop out which was extremely unlikely this year and that greatly reduces the value I placed on priority points. Apparently I've been chasing a pipe dream by thinking donating more would move me up a lot or two.
I was seriously calculating this week if I could somehow squeeze enough out of the budget to get up closer to the Big A donor level next year because I loved parking in Raley (Peacock) when I got a parking pass off of someone here a few years back, but I'll likely lower it down given this new information.
I do absolutely feel worse for people who didn't get a spot though. That seems even extra shady as they essentially took your money and you thought you would get parking but instead you got nothing for it except a sticker in the mail.
Re: Football Parking 2022
Just found out I didn't get parking. Been season ticket holder for 7 years. Always parked in rivers. Shitty part is I just found out they actually called my friend and asked him for more money to park there. Why did some people get that option and some didn't?

Re: Football Parking 2022
If someone has a higher # of priority points, whether a log time donor that steps up or goes all in with a huge donation and passes you or I, then it is what it is.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 1:42 pmPersonally, I do. Re: Football Parking 2022
It is what it is for that year...we will see where it is in the future. The future is so bright I gotta wear shades (Maybe from the empty aluminum reflecting sun rays.) Entertainment dollars are not so sticky. If you have a group that like hanging together and you price out the right member of said group, the group quits having as much fun.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:00 pmIf someone has a higher # of priority points, whether a log time donor that steps up or goes all in with a huge donation and passes you or I, then it is what it is.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 1:42 pmPersonally, I do.
