Why go for 2 though? What's the logic? Because you don't think our defense can stop UNC from kicking a field goal to win it? Even if it was converted UNC still only needs a field goal to win.

The logic is that I thought we WOULD stop them. Better odds than going to OT.

This team didn’t quit and gave its all for App State. A lot of history made. The two games in the series have shown that we are just as good, if not better than them. Proud to be a Mountaineer.

(Wake, UT, PennSt). Our offense looked good, backs , qb, wr, te, line all performed well. Wouldve like to seen more of Harrington. No missed extra points (need1 more other than the 2pt attempt)
Defense looked like a carryover from WKU. Drake Maye is the real deal and personally i think he is better right now than Howell ever was. Never never never go for 2 at home.

LOL, yeah just tie it up and give the ball to an offense that has scored 56 points. Then if we are fortunate enough to keep them from scoring in the final 30 seconds, we pray for really good luck in overtime. That's not a winning mindset.

If we had made the FG attempt early in the game, we might have won.

When you can score 61 and still lose that is not just bad D its no D. We can safely say that an 0-2 start is a sure thing. Our D keeps playing like this we’ll lose some conference games too. Coaches and players better get it figured out fast.
