If there is anyone who doesn't think we have a much improved OC you need to go watch tennis.
Agreed. We also need to keep in mind that UNC made a lot of mistakes on their end. They are not well coached or else they would have not let us back in when they were up 20. They had so many penalties that kept us alive. They were undisciplined and poorly coached. Just look at the onside kick recovery the first time. The guy took it back for a TD and that was stupid with how good both offenses were playing. He should have slid down inside our 10-yard line so they could just kneel the ball and get out of there. They gave us another chance doing that.
Agreed, but buy the same token our guy never should have tried to stop him from scoring. Although it was a great effort.
Orrrrr…should he? I’m not saying he should’ve stopped him, but keep up the charade. If our guy stops, perhaps their guy stops.
Not to be argumentative but that wouldn’t make sense. Their guy should have had no issue being tackled. If he gets tackled, kneels down or even runs out of bounds the game is over.
I’m not going to waste any more time than this splitting hairs over something that really doesn’t matter. But if we make NO effort, someone on the sideline or a teammate might see what we’re doing and get to the runner to tell him to fall down. Game over.

In his postgame talk Mack said all the coaches were yelling for him to go down.

A+ for offense on Saturdays game. No complaints from me on that aspect. Also, special teams or should I say kick off team I don't recall a single kick return. I know a missed field goal but it was a long one and both teams punters got plenty of rest.

From a humor perspective, I wonder if Chase, when he runs, mentally does he feel like Lamar Jackson...but in reality, he is Peyton Manning...my view on runs from the NEZ can sometimes be misleading. He had a 9 yard run...I was like wow that is like a 15 to 20 yard run.... scoreboard..3rd and 1.. lol

Watching a game from the end zone offers some unique perceptions - however, as you mentioned, I have always had trouble with running plays especially into the middle of the line - Did he get stopped for no gain? Did he gain 2-3 or 5-7?

I could never sit in the end zone anymore. Just not able to judge distances or see things well at all. When we have road games I do my best to get seats between 30-50 if I can. I know that won’t happen against A&M and I don’t look forward to that bad view. Lol

Yeah those views are awful especially when the game is in the other red zone.

That is the worst part. When you are on the east and a play happens on the west side you can't judge it at all.

I watch the ref spotting the ball for yardage.

My freshman year, we broadcast games from the front porch of Owens Field House. Had to wait on the scoreboard for down and distance.

I am not an endzone guy. Don't like it at all but I am happy for those who enjoy our new one.

Our defensive woes overshadowed a brilliantly-called offensive game by Barbay and outstanding execution by the players.
This squad will be fun to watch this year!

13 possessions
9 TDS

Pretty efficient.
