I'm not 100% sold its coaching that's the major issue ...
Would love to hear your thoughts. Satt would have not lost this game.

There’s a number of issues, but I think the majority of it is that the coaches don’t have the players prepared to play, or they don’t have them in the right formations/places. Some of that could be the players just not doing what they should be doing, but if that’s the case then it’s still on the coaches to coach them. We’re 6 games into the season. Communication breakdowns aren’t going to be a valid excuse anymore.

Maybe we have the wrong players for the scheme-and that’s potentially at least partially attributable to previous staffs. But the current staff should own that and do better with what they have.
Give 'em hell!

Responsibility for games like these always falls on the coaching staff but I agree with your sentiment.

People forget but this was supposed to be a down year talent wise. Yes we back filled with the portal, but that’s not always a guarantee. And you’re not adding kids we developed.

Doesn’t excuse getting plowed by Texas State, nor the penalties which are particularly bad, but the A&M win may have created expectations for this team that were not realistic.

Not sure I have bailed on App in many years but I can’t take this garbage much longer
Our lines are not dominating any longer. Needs to be addressed heavily this off-season.

"How is Texas St only 2-3? They are just so good"
"It's more Texas St and Sunbelt catching up to us"
I'm really hating that I believed this for 2 weeks

Is not getting embarrassed an unrealistic expectation?

Another personal foul, discipline continues to be a problem. Nothing new here.

Do these announcers actually see the score? They talk like we are within a TD

When was the last time we’ve had over 100 yds in penalties? No excuses.

Word is out that anyone with a semi accurate QB can pick us apart.

What do you do as a coach when your players keep doing stupid shit on the field? We have had a culture of undisciplined play for years. That is unacceptable. I don't know what the answer is but something ain't working.

If you are going to jump the ball down 20, you have to at least get your hand and disrupt the ball.
Yep. Before that happened I was thinking we have plenty of time to score three times and go up by one. Then jones gambles, they pick up 30 yards and regain momentum to pick up a field goal.

I want to hear nothing about “the Bulls” until they can get a third down conversion.

At this point, a win would still feel like a loss. We have serious issues that need to be addressed.

Who has confidence D Jones' D can hold T state from scoring again the rest of the way?
