Re: PEOPLES
That is why I said it appears he is good to go. Things can change for sure. The longer he is injured the more he emboldens his injury prone perception by NFL people. Hopefully he is healthy now.

I just meant that regardless of how he is health wise, nobody will know if he is going to play until he actually plays. Coaches keep a real light wrap on our player availability.

Re: PEOPLES
He is practicing so you would assume that he should be fine to go but that is indeed true. Hopefully he can and will go on Wednesday.t4pizza wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 8:43 pmI just meant that regardless of how he is health wise, nobody will know if he is going to play until he actually plays. Re: PEOPLES
Noel played against Texas State and didn't have any injuries during the game. I would assume he's good as wellASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 10:30 amWhat about Noel? Really need our 1-2 punch to get things on track.

Don’t get me wrong, I want Cam and Nate healthy and playing but if the O line shows up any of our back can get it done

Re: PEOPLES
I love Cam Peoples but just don't see him as an NFL'er, at least not getting drafted. Fumbles too much and seems to be injury-prone. Hope I am wrong. Just my .02 cents.

Only ran the ball a few times in 2018 and 2019. He has fumbled the ball 6 times and 4 were recovered by the other team. He has rushed the ball 395 times and fumbled 6 times from what I can find.

good find...I stand corrected. Maybe it's just his injuries that are standing out to me.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:58 pmExactly!AppState89 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:52 pmYear Fumbles Fumbles Lost Rushing Att

Re: PEOPLES
Stop with the common sense! And at least one of those was clearly not a fumble...WASU 93 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:58 pmExactly!AppState89 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:52 pmYear Fumbles Fumbles Lost Rushing Att

His biggest flaws going in to the season was injury prone and pass blocking. His pass blocking has improved tremendously.
You can't coach his measureables. A team will take a chance in him in day 3 because of that. His injury history definitely hurts him, but to my understanding, it's the same injury (except for last week) his whole career. He self admittedly didn't take the rehab as serious as he needed to. After the JMU game he realized how crucial it is for him to take it serious.
Last week was just a fluke incident that could not be prevented.

Re: PEOPLES
That non-football injury may be flaring up?
The line is back to -9.5

My take on Peoples is he is a back with size, strength, power, and speed. A threat to take it to the house at any time as long as he's healthy. Had he been healthy and no covid strange seasons, maybe he's up there with John Settle as 1 of the best backs in APP uniform, even though he's shared time because of the differences in offenses of the eras.

Re: PEOPLES
That wasn't his question. It works for others as well. The question was does it make him more susceptible to injury. And the answer is yes, it does.
But Cam wouldn't be as effective if he ran any other way.

Re: PEOPLES
Welp..I'll be damned. Peoples is listed as the 9th best RB prospect at least by Pro Football Network (2023 Draft):
Running backs
1) Bijan Robinson, Texas
2) Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama
3) Tank Bigsby, Auburn
4) Sean Tucker, Syracuse
5) Zach Charbonnet, UCLA
6) Israel Abanikanda, Pittsburgh
7) Zach Evans, Ole Miss
8) Blake Corum, Michigan
9) Camerun Peoples, Appalachian State
10) Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State
