Tell me you don't know football without telling me you don't know football...

Never a dog fight. The result was never in question. We tried so many new things in the first half. They didn't work as well as they could have, but this kind of game is where you try the new things. Work on nuances. Work on things you want to see how they may work against certain looks in a game environment.
You are insufferable. 7-3 in the first quarter with an 0-7 FCs team is a joke.
He’s insufferable? You need some help man.
Ok. I wish I could live in lala land with you
How about just stop being so miserable? You are attacking anyone who isn’t bemoaning the outcome of our win today. I don’t mean this to be mean but you seem so unhappy and these games are not fun for you. We win 42-3 and you are out of your mind attacking folks on the board. That’s not healthy
Remember that this is the guy with the quote of the year - "This team f-ing sucks" - that was during game against Ga State which we ended up winning easily -

I don’t understand rooting for a team that obviously makes you so unhappy

Might aughta go ahead and get the car pulled over. A wild cherry switch might come in handy.

I think if it lasts more than 4 hours you’re supposed to see a doctor

It truly is funny reading the game day threads. The ones that come here to bitch go away when things are going right. What a pathetic life.

Meaningless game and we did what we were supposed to. Best thing is no injuries. Let’s get ready for coastal. If we want to achieve our goals we have to play lights out football from here on out.

This game is what it was. We sleptwalked though an easy game and didn’t look terribly impressive with style points. The game was never in doubt and I am sure we tried new things. I am worried about Coastal as we never know what team will show up. We have the ability to be dominant or May an egg. Win out and win the conference. We have the ability, just need to do it.

Well I hate I missed the message boards today.... Looks like it was a good back and forth between the dark side and light side.... I had to coach 4 soccer games today so I've been out on the field all day.... With that being said.... I saw Berger got to play and I saw that Kayne played. That means we did what we needed and wanted to. Having said all of that, ON TO COASTAL! I am happy we are playing this game on the road. I just get there feeling that the team likes going into visiting stadiums and ruining their night. I think this team might have finally hit puberty and will grow up into a big mean team! Let's see how Coastal goes and then we might know if they figured out how to play ball.

Their coach says as far as he knows the injured player (Rico Watson?) is good.

Lukewarm take: I knew during the prediction thread on Thursday that people were going to be unhappy. Too many people thinking we were going to win 60-0. That just doesn’t happen very often.
Also, had a buddy go to Cherokee this weekend. Reeeeaally thought about betting $10 or so that App wouldn’t cover the spread, because 50 points is crazy. Wish I would’ve. Would’ve won like $15 or something.

One more thing: I’m a big Atlanta Braves fan and there is definitely an overlap between people who get worked up over a 42-3 win over an FCS team and people who freak out when a starting pitcher has a rough outing during spring training. Relax. A win’s a win.

I never understood this. If it lasted four hours, I doubt that you’re the one that needs to see the doctor. :D

I really liked that we tried new things on offense. I believe we may see some of it again. On certain plays, they may work in the future...it may have been first time execution issues. I looked at it as Coach Clark and OC trying to evolve the offense...

The one item I hope we do not do.. . just my opinion. If I recall correctly, it seems that 3 of QB1 INTs have been to an LB on quick zip pass up the hash marks.. maybe not exact same play but general area. He seems to have an issue in either seeing or reading the LB (JMU, Tx. St and yesterday)...unless we had receiver error on route, I believe we leave that one in the playbook.🤣
