Hopefully the piece is put out somewhere that’s free soon.

Great piece followed by the panel picking Coastal.
It’s funny that they all let McCall sway them into picking Coastal. Credit to him, without him theyd lose to nearly everyone on their schedule, including Gardner-Webb, but they’re severely understating just how bad that defense is.

That was a great video and what a great way to show the nation just how special it is to be a Mountaineer. I only wish the short clip of the Gatorade being dumped on the previous coach had been left out.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Does anyone know if there is a replay? I tried to get to it at 9:00pm but couldn't get access. Problem with a piece like this is few had forewarning that it was on and fewer folks could actually access it when it was on. Not a good formula for having many eyes on the show.

Great marketing/showpiece for our school. Coach Moore, Coach Clark and Doug Gillen are excellent salespeople for Appalachian State.

I linked it above from Twitter. At least I assume that was the whole piece?

So neutralize one guy and win. As a coach I would like that situation.

Not sure I liked some of Coach Clark's comments about us in the opening piece.
Boone is hard to get to? 2 hours from a major airport?
No night life? No limelight?

It's not exactly backwoods USA but kinda sounds like it hearing that.

It’s all true. Own what you are. Nothing worse than programs that pretend to be something or somewhere they aren’t.

Nobody comes to Boone/App State for the nightlife haha.

That’s actually really appealing to me. I’m sure some of our guys come for the great outdoors. Most probably come to win.

We all did, of course. Lots of great house parties and memories at whatever the 5 bars in town were called when each of us was respectively there.

But if you want nightlife you go to the University of Miami, or Ga Tech, or any university in a big buzzing city.

We aren’t that. Which is great because that ain’t my cup of tea.

Yes that was the whole piece. I DVRd it and watched it this morning.

I didn't realize I was getting a "World Class" degree when I was there. I do know the grades on my transcripts make it look more like 2nd or 3rd class.

The nightlife that many of the members on this board might enjoy is entirely different than what others might be looking for. As far as I know, there aren’t a wealth of dance clubs in Watauga county. You want pubs and dive bars, yeah-gotcha covered. Up tempo dancing-not so much.

Clark has three criteria to offer a kid a scholarship.

1. Love your teammates
2. Love football
3. Love Boone

Not arguing ....just saying!!! When I was in Boone, Geno's and Legends were pretty good dance clubs with lots of upbeat dancing. The Wednesday night "drunk bus" would pick you up and drop you off on campus. Times change maybe it is not there anywhere anymore. I wouldn't know. You make a good point if it is not there now.
