Yep. That's what would have made it a real kick in the pants if we lost.

Yes. A photo finish by a nose.

If there was any team to beat to snap the power conference streak, of course it had to be UL. Our athletic program owed them one. 3-0!

Lordddd, he was awful!WVAPPeer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 8:20 pmImpressive win - tough, tough defense and some big rebounds - I thought the shot was going to count until the very last view where you could see the ball still hadn't left his hand when the red light came on ---
Cory Alexander is the color guy, he also does ESPN games - he was a great player at UVA but what you heard tonight is what you hear every game he calls - I turn the sound off because he is that bad - He knows basketball but he seems to play favorites in every game he calls ---
An ACC win on the road, and never trailed. Huge for the program. TAKE THE STAIRS!!
GO APPS!!

Corey Alexander can suck it. Whining the whole game about fouls then quiet when there were no calls against Louisville in the last 2 minutes, called it a win for a Louisville with excitement then quiet again when he was wrong. He must be buddies with Capel.

He was singing our praises in the first half, saying that we were better than the 7th place preseason pick.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 8:25 pmCorey Alexander can suck it. Yeah, I don’t think we ever trailed. Checked the game tracker and that is indeed the case. Good win.

At some point ESPN might need to correct those records- App is 3-0 and Louisville is 0-3.

1997-98, although the first two of those were sub-D1 teams.

In 78-79, App won its first five, the previous only time App won more than two in a row to start the season.

Can’t believe a postgame article (or even a blurb) hasn’t been posted on appstatesports.com yet! I would’ve expected questions like this to be answered on there immediately…T-Dog wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 9:39 pm1997-98, although the first two of those were sub-D1 teams.

I wonder if Scott Satterfield was in attendance.

Louisville has athletes , and oh yes , tons of money , but are rebuilding. We are the better team at this point for each program.
