We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

If I hear one word from Clark that we played hard, give credit to Southern and the Sun Belt is much improved I am going to puke.

we let the clock down out when we could have run another play to get closer but we knew better right?
Or ran another play that resulted in a fumble that took the opportunity away ... some of y'all are clueless.
Not when you kneel it in the middle of the field.
Bad snap can happen. Too many variables.
So kicking it from the left hash was the best option? Nope, not when we had the timeouts. Good coaches put their players in position to be successful.
A scholarship kicker should make a 29 yd FG, whatever the hash is. No excuses. He has 1 job. Make the kick.

Thank you seniors. Hate that it ends like this for them. Like having the plug pulled on your football career.

Congrats to the many of you on this board that enjoy seeing us lose more than enjoying the wins. You know who you are.

Undefeated next season. Go App.
Always support the players. Not the coaches so much this year.

On the 4th and 1 in regulation. Not sure if it was an RPO or not...but 88 was wide open..that should have been the read.

Twice, in both halves, we needed to get a yard, and couldn't do it.
Doesn't matter what the heck is called, you go get a freaking yard. If you can't get 1 single yard when you need to, no one deserves to win. Don't care who the coaches are.

Winners get a freaking yard.
But if it doesn't work over and over throughout the year then run an option or something. That may not work either but try something different after it does not work 3 times already in the same game.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Had another play and settled for the field goal try….we need a coach
I mean, 29 yards on the left hash is pretty solid.
Definitely reasonable to think a fumble was more likely than missing a chip shot
If you’re that scared you might never win another game….that was scared football….good coaches use opportunity….they don’t shrink from it….great example was GS calling the fake field goal

Better go get your bucket ready then.
Unless Gillen fires them all in the locker room and makes them walk home.
The cubbards will be bare next year. I am expecting a mass exodus to the transfer portal.
Is Mike Working still coaching?

Its over we opened the door.
Told ya it was over. Why do we keep breathing life into GSU's program again and again every few years ???

I'm done for a few months  I'll read over program announcements and such but really don't have much to look to the future for right now. Take care Mountaineers, Merry Christmas.

Well, when SC was hired my words were “the last time we hired a coach based on who the players wanted we got Capel”. I was open minded and mildly optimistic and will continue to be if he’s our guy for now, but it’s a struggle.

Life of a kicker man. He drilled his first 3, and has been pretty solid all year. He will win us some games in the future, it happens. Still hurst in the moment. I feel for him.

What I hate about the crappy bowls the most (the ones who pit the 6-6 team who beat an FCS team and went 4-4 in their conference against the 7-5 who slayed 2 pitiful FCS teams and limped in) is when someone says they "deserved" it. While any extra game and a little vacation is great for players, a trip to Birmingham in mid December at a cost to the athletic department for a shit team is ridiculous.

There was nobody within 15 yards of him. Short pass and he runs a LONG LONG way.

Which hash is Hughes most comfortable on? I assume from the way he shapes his kicks he likes center or right hash.

We had 2 timeouts. Not putting the kicker in the best position is on the coaches

Yep, the words, “players coach” scare me.

At least we don’t have an offensive line guru as a head coach, otherwise I’d be worried that we have such a time getting that yard.
