Thank you for the stats. That’s interesting. Is there a break down in the kind of penalties? It seems like we had way more holding and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties this year, but I could be wrong.

I was more talking about the after the whistle situations like the questionable words out DL used last year and now players shoving opponents fans after the game. That kind of stuff don’t fly. Gotta reel that kinda character crap in.

Spurlin didn't use any racial slurs last year. It was made up. The dude that made it up has been kicked off of two teams now. Take that how you will.

I did not condone what Hampton did at all, but we also don't have the full video. Just like the video of the Troy player knocking one of our fans over looked bad until you saw the whole thing and realize the kid deserved every second of it.

Talk about effort and execution. With pass/fail with players, where does SC fall in the rank? Solid question.

If I told you we would outgain GS by 142 yards, that they would have 2 turnovers and us have none, and that time of possession would favor us by over 5 minutes who do you think would have won the game.

This game can be summed up by lack of efficiency and a poor pass defense. 0 for 2 on fourth down conversions and a missed field goal. We didn't have that many penalties, but we had twice as many as GS and one of them was drive killing. At least one of their drives was aided by two third and long conversions.

Lots of improvement needed on the defensive side of the ball. We are good against the run, but terrible against teams that are good at passing. No pressure, and not good at coverage. If we had been average against the pass, I think we may have won as many as 9 games. I think this may be a comprehensive problem with coaching, leadership and lack of experience. Lots of opportunity for new goals and objectives defensively for next year.

I don't condone that crap and I hope this has been sent to Shawn. With that said I would love to have seen video starting about 10 seconds previous to that. I say that because I have been victim to gs fans.

You can see the GS fan in his face, then the shove. Kind of like every time a fan base rushes the field and runs through the opposing team. Usually, the fans bring it on themselves, and hopefully that's the case even though you would prefer to turn a blind eye to the idiots enticing you.

Maybe the players wouldn't have been in the middle of a mob in the first place if the coaches had done a better job. Not many schools rush the field when they lose.

Nothing can make it better but could make it different. If he was provoked physically it could be used as a teaching moment with some sort of punishment. If it was anything else a harsh punishment would be my course of action. It is a bad look regardless. I hate that we look anything like them.
