I will say this. IF Cam makes an NFL roster and IF he parlays a career out of it. It would mark a monumental shift in his mental toughness. There is no question that he has the physical tools. It’s the eight inch gap between his ears that will hold him back.

You can't measure heart and determination. If they could then we would know for sure what will happen. The fact we don't have that measurement is the cause for debate.

Yes recently DE and he was really good too, but my point is how many APP RBs drafted or made squad in 40 years? I thought Cam had potential to be the best.

John Settle did and he was a Pro Bowler. Evans and Jalin Moore recently. Moore retired early due to injury. We have not had a player with Cam's talent but Harrington was a more dependable runner in college despite not having half of Cam's talent. I hope Cam can stay healthy and make it but he will have to check that track mentality at the door when he gets to that league. They won't just keep him around like Clark did. They will cut him pretty quick if he pulls what he did at the end of the 2022 season.

If Chop didn't have multiple severe injuries, he would have easily passed Cam on the depth chart. Heck, he was on the verge of passing Darrynton...

People questioned the toughness of Jamal Londry-Jackson when his productivity went down and eventually was benched in 2013 after being SoCon Player of the Year in 2012. Later he found out he had an immune system disease where he couldn't maintain weight.

So true. He had a better run style than Cam as well. He just did not have the same physical tools but loved how he ran.

I remember that because all these agents and media were hyping him in the preseason but then it disappeared. You never know if the medical will pop up and for Cam we have already seen him deal with a lot so I am concerned about him holding up.
