You can’t approach the game with fear of injury or transfer. You put the best guy out there and see what happens.

Both are running threats. Aguilar is more of a stereotypical dual threat but Burger can also run. From what I've seen, Burger throws a better ball but I've only been to one session this year. Aguilar seems to throw the deep ball really well.

Aguilar would have had an offer from Miami if Gattis signed off on it. He didn't. So Ponce put us on to him. Then Ponce comes back here and Gattis gets fired.

Personally, I want the guy that gives App. St. the best chance to win no matter who it is. The guy that is not selected as QB1 has two choices. 1) prove the coaching staff wrong in practice or 2) portal. That is college football this day and age. If coaching staff makes decision decision based around concerns of a kid entering the portal, we have the wrong coaching staff. Just my opinion

Sure. I get that. We got lucky with him. A 4 star with actual game experience is the definition of a unicorn.
