I watched the entire game and didn't think App played badly at all. Playing the #2 team in the country without using your top 2 pitchers means the chances of winning are extremely slim. Personally, I felt both outs at home were clearly the wrong play. With a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs my mantra was always, a ground ball on the left side - make it go through --- and sending the runner home on the double was questionable to me (even though the cut and relay were excellent) because the heart of the order was due up. WF has a very good team.
