I'm a little surprised Fletcher didn't get the start at DE

Same, but at the same time, these kinds of things prove what we know here. We're just as talented in many positions as "P5." The dropoff from #1-#10 is a LOT greater than from #10 to #30

I don’t think who is 1,2,or 3 matters much when it comes to rotational positions. Who plays snap 1 is going to be based off of situations.

Right. Defenses are rotating more than ever to keep guys fresh, especially on the DL. Will have to go back and listen, but I believe Clarke mentioned we will play 8 to 10 D Lineman this week.

94, Any info on Jack Scroggs? Surprising name to see as a PWO pretty late in the cycle and cracking the depth chart at LB. Impressive. Parker and Scroggs to help mentor these young and hungry backers is going to be nice!

That is pretty impressive to see a PWO crack the depth chart. Wasn't Richardson a walk on back when he played? It's got to be rare for a walk on to play significant minutes for a high level program.

He was a package deal with his brother. They wanted to play together. I believe that he played at Wofford so he understands the system and responsibilities.

Speaking of rotations, you should keep your eyes out for some different packages. DDP played nose so you could see a rotation of Collins and Fletcher with DDP moving over to nose.

Not your typical PWO. He has two years of playing experience at Wofford and is the brother of GA transfer Griffin.

I don't think I've seen any comments on Samuel at LT. He went to my high school. Came to App as a tall but smaller defensive lineman. He switched to offensive line a couple of seasons back. Must have really put in the work. That's obviously one of the most critical positions on the field

Excellent! Hopefully Clark has let him know who the little brothers are of the old SoCon, haha! We need a name for the Scroggs brothers...any ideas Cabin members? Obviously Bash Brothers is a good one...Brothers Scroggsborne? Haha, hurricane is coming, I've got some time today.

I'm just hopeful that Saturday's game will be decided relatively early to allow us to see a lot of the names on this depth chart.

I envision this being a pretty competitive game. It would be great for it to be decided early but I'm not convinced it will be. That's less a commentary on us and more getting a sense that GW will be a relatively tough out.

GW will be no pushover. It will be a solid test for our DL and LB to see if they are improved and up to the challenge. Their RB will make us pay if we aren't.

I think it'll be close for a half, but App's depth and talent will win out in the second half. I just don't see App being upset by an FCS school, especially considering how everyone on the coaching staff knows that App used to be right where GW is. I also had no idea until the other day that Taylor Lamb's cousin is the head coach at GW. Fun Fact!

GW is going to be a good game to watch until our depth takes over. Their RB may be the best we see all year -- definitely top 5. He's the real deal and is getting a lot of eyes from the next level.

Tre Lamb has a ton of respect in the industry and the Bulldogs will be well coached.

If we haven't improved from last year, it'll be close.

Top five maybe, but tap the breaks on best all year - Gore at S. Miss. and Ali at Marshall are on our schedule.

Its understandable after last season's disappointment how some feel this would be a good game even if for only a half. Also the fact GW played decent against the FBS opponents they faced last season.

Still, it's just tough for me to see or hear it being a possibility that App State at home for an opener in front of 30k plus fans against a FCS school should be a "good game".

There's set the bar low, and then have a close game v G Webb. Is this 2013?
