Line opened at 22.5. Slightly heavy, but par for how Vegas has set odds for the past couple of years.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 2:37 pmI don't believe that's how the predicted score works on that site. I.e. the "predicted score" for ECU/Michigan is 28.2 - 35, but the line is Michigan -35.5.
The odds aren't out yet on FCS/FBS games. I'd guess the line will be in the 18-22 range, but I could be light.

Some things I liked on first drive and some things that reminded me of last season. D looks good early.

Re: It's Burger Time - GW discussion
The only thing I did not like was the 2nd and 3rd when we needed 20 to get to 10 for 1st down. Two running plays back to back...did not care for that.

Good passes by Burger on the first drive. Still timid in the pocket like most young QBs.

Radio broadcast picking up where it left off last season, cutting out every five minutes.

Haywood reminds me a little of Jalin Moore. Maybe its just the number, but he has the same build and straight to the hole approach.

Glad burger is getting these reps. He’ll learn. The o line though, I’m concerned.

Who had Eli Wilson with the first points of the season?
Good formation to close that one out.
Under 30 yards allowed by defense is a nice start.

Re: It's Burger Time - GW discussion
Way too early to make that kind of statement. GW's D played well against some good G5 teams last year. They are getting more pressure than I'd like but let's let our guys settle in. We are in control of this game so far and will settle into a rhythm.
There's the TD! Confidence builder. GO APPS!
