It’s too early BUT our Oline is disappointing. I can be patient.
Thank you for a little bit of analysis, unlike the chicken littles on here.
O-line looks really rough. Defense is showing flashes of great play and then some awful mistakes. Burger is keeping plays alive despite his o-line not giving him time. Impressed by him so far.
You want analysis? We are getting bullied in all aspects by an FCS team. That should be enough analysis for you. Our head coach is in over his head
It’s halftime. What’s the score?
Miss me with this shit. It’s 14-10 vs a team we should beat by 28.
We will, come back and eat your pie.

Doesn’t look great from the N endzone. There isn’t as much running room as I’d hoped. D doesn’t look improved from last season so far.

Hope the 2nd half shows improvements.

The only real complaint I have is that we go through all of the Spring and Summer practices, scrimmages and prep to come out looking flat. The mantra has been that we are not rebuilding but it's a reset. There is talk about culture- I really have no idea what that even means. Back to the complaint. We look flat. How many times was that said last year? Gets old. Can't win them all but zero reason to look flat or uninspired.

Some guys seem to be just waiting around for a misstep so that you can be proven right on your doomsday predictions. I don't know why you both watching the games.

Regarding the zero chance against UNC...in 2019 our offensive genius coach had us leading 14-0 against ETSU, a team that had just re-started its program. in game 2, we gave up 41 points to a terrible Charlotte team and held on to win a shoot out. In week 3, we beat UNC at their field.

Look, nobody is thrilled with the first half, but we are figuring some things out. It appears that Aguilar might be the man. My guess is we see both QBs a fair amount this year. The D shows definite improvement. Sure, they have things to improve and identifying those is the reason we play a decent FCS team in week 1. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'll be damned if I give up in the first half of game 1.

GO APPS!
Like I prefaced before, I'm not "giving up" on the program, but I'm definitely not happy with the direction we have gone these last few years. I was at College Station and I was at the hail Mary gameday game- Texas AM game was the highlight of Shawn's time as HC. Well coached, motivated, executed. The hail Mary game was eye opening. In all.of our elation, it was in that moment that I knew Clark wasn't the guy. Like most have said, this game, regardless of outcome, should not be 14-10 at half. Having 2 QBs is also a sign of isntability- its not ever a solid strategy. It's gambling. But I agree, that's probably our best bet to make it through the season. This program needs a massive "back to our roots" campaign, or embrace the coach churn route which I, as well as many other alumni, saw as a valid future for this program to stay nationally relevant.

We don’t really know what we have until we play someone else. While we maybe got a little bigger on the D Line, it’s still evident the backers still look sluggish. We will get spread out by every team. DB’s might have to play press some more or else these WR screens will rip us apart.

But shawn clark has been a failure since he got here. This isnt just a reaction to the first half. Hes like 5-13 vs teams we are +/- 5pt favorite/underdog (he doesnt do well against teams at our level), 1st bowl loss in humiliating fashion. Lost 28-3 lead vs JMU, texas state, Hasnt recruited any good players in 3 years, massive losses for louisiana, took over an awesome team and 0 conference titles...I mean...are you an App fan? Are you just learning this?

Didn’t learn. Kicked out of bounds. WR screen on soft coverage for 9. Clockwork

And that’s why when you have a 3rd and 11 on a dropped snap with momentum you make the stop and don’t give up a scramble. Good teams make plays.

Looks like the woes of last year still hang around. Just doesn’t feel like the team has swagger.

Well; hope to see us win a few games, so far, unimpressed. Let’s see how Aguilar shapes the O
