Before I stopped, I could bench 325. However, it was only one rep. :)

Not really, at least I don't think so. Today I'd be lucky to bench 200, but, I'm 68 too. Also, back in the day I'd do flies (10 reps) with 50 pound dumbbells.

It is impressive. I have a shoulder issue and I can’t balance the weight which limited my lift.

It’s strictly strategic to limit our muscle bulk as to not cut into our speed and dexterity
