I've said it before, and even after a win I will say it again. App State will never win a Sun Belt title with Clark as head coach. If barely beating ULM convinces you otherwise, then good for you. As for me, I'll be more realistic with my expectations.

Right, dude's acting like this wasn't a game that App shouldn't have dominated. Clean up the Turnovers and we hit the spread I think. Coastal is down and great opportunity to build some momentum back.
But I still don't know what to think. I guess we need to let the season finish out.

Now 6-10 in our last 16 FBS games. 54 yd FG to beat a team we were favored by -14.5. First road win since Sep 10, 2022. I'll take the win and hate the state of the program at the same time.

When did I say that? Im glad we won..... Im on cloud nine! Hughes came through and Favors did his thing to help the win. What Im saying is that to win a game that we obviously were not prepared to win or made many changes to try and win.... just shows where the coaching is. Thats not wanting us to lose. I said it in another thread. I hope Clark rights the ship and we win every game from here on out and he gets a job with a P5 and makes bank.

Had it 3rd and goal from the 3 up two points. We hadn’t stopped the QB sneak all game. Bowden is kicking himself after our scheming us all night he outsmarted himself.

Glad we won but we still have ALOT of issues to clean up. Good to have a break in the schedule with a home game coming up. We’ll see what happens.

Everyone that bad mouthed Clark for the loss last week should at least give him credit for pulling it out this week. Sure it was ugly, but we found a way. Clark was criticized (by many) for losing the game in the final moments, well those same guys should give him credit now. Fair is fair. The game was not good, we played very badly, too many mistakes, make a bad offensive team look like a Tom Brady lead Patriots, BUT we found a way to win. Great clock management to end the game, and I challenge anyone to dispute that. I didn't like the game but we won.
