Re: ULM
Absolutely love being proven wrong, good comeback after so many mistakes the team overcame getting out schemed and out executed for 59 minutes.
Get back in the lab and get ready for next week, 10 days to prepare for McCall one last time. Lots of improvements will need to be made.

Re: ULM
We've got many, many issues and weaknesses. Happy for Hughes and the team, but that coaching staff better not feel good about themselves. That was a losing effort all the way around. We looked soft on both sides of the ball and unprepared except for the last 50 seconds. In the end, our saving grace was Terry Bowden coaching not to lose.

Re: ULM
Same energy if he misses that or do you then turn to it's the players fault and not the coaches?
"Clark isn't the one kicking the field goal"
That's all that would have been said had Hughes missed it and App lost.
This game never should have been close. Hard to accept we're only 1 point better than ULM.

Well, a win is a win. I've been watching App State Football for almost twenty years. I've never seen more undisciplined and lack of preparation for a win. These next few weeks are crucial. I've given Clark every benefit of a doubt, but the next few weeks is where the rubber will meet the road.

Re: ULM
Almost 20 years…that’s obvious. Because if it was 25 years then you would have said this was the second most undisciplined team behind the 1999 playoff team that got absolutely whooped by FAMU.asu1988 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 10:43 pmWell, a win is a win. Sorry to everyone who lived through that debacle. It’s why I don’t drink Seagrams 7 anymore.

Re: ULM
We didn’t deserve to win tonight but glad we did. We deserved to win the last two though. Despite some conservative play calling last game, I’ve been overall impressed from what I’ve seen from this team so far. Tonight was a bad game. It’s ok though, teams are allowed to have a bad game. But I agree with the earlier post, the next few games might determine Clark’s fate.

Rattlers run no huddle as we watched their WRs run past our defenders looking at our sideline for the play.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 10:49 pmAlmost 20 years…that’s obvious. Only the 0-10 VMI loss with a SOCon title on the line tops that game.
