That's amazing! Hopefully he can have careers as nice as Royals and Alexander.JTApps1 wrote:Sam was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week today. He averaged 52.5 a punt with a long of 72. It looks like the Lion's "gamble" to use a 5th round pick is paying off. Of course we all knew that would be the case!![]()

Dimwits! Like he knew it was going to be a 72 yard punt and would end up in the endzone...firemoose wrote:How's this for some real smart people:

Sam Martin, the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week, said he got hate tweets for his 72-yard punt that went into the EZ. People, the worst
72 yard punt. Even with it going into the endzone it's still a net of 52. And it was near the end of a close game. He was trying to prevent a possible return. Guess they were expecting him to stop it at the 5 from 67 yards away.
Just goes to show some people aren't happy unless they have something to complain about.
These are probably the people who were mad they drafted him in the 5th round, and they're bitter that he has proved them wrong.firemoose wrote:How's this for some real smart people:
