ULM was smacked in Monroe today 55 - 7 by 2 and 3 South AL. Let it sink in.
The transitive property of college football is BS, but App’s results don’t look great right now. Two close losses to pretty good teams, three wins against pretty bad teams. I mean, ECU lost to Rice.

One can’t claim that the transitive property is total BS and then point out what Wyoming and CHeat are doing in the same breath. It doesn’t work both ways — or one of the ways, in this case.

Again whatever side of the aisle you are on about SC, we will have to wait till the EOY. The nice thing is we have a national game, sold out crowd, to go 2-0 in the SB on Tuesday. The rest of this year will truly be "take it one week at a time". As I said before I am a SC backer but I know this game (and every game) is crucial. I don't care if they win by 20 or 1. A win is a win. Anyone that's been on a team before understands this.

I think the technical term is "talking out of both sides of your mouth"...😂
With that said, I think you can and should compare at end of year. If the Pokes and Heels win their respective conference game or get to them....then... although no loss is a good loss...those two losses are not bad losses... my opinion anyway

We have a tendency to play up and down to our competition.

My heart is ready for a blow out win in two days.

Dean Smith - started coaching in 1961 - first NCAA championship 1982, it took him 6 years to make a post season tournament.

Nick Saban only has 2 undefeated seasons in his whole career, took him until his 10th football season to win a National Title.

Mack Brown has over 275 wins and only 1 National Title.

Jerry Moore stunk at Texas Tech (16-37-2 record) WOW!!!!!!!
From 1989-2004 he only finished 1st in the SoCon 2 times, T-1 once...... 15 years and only 3 1st place finishes.

Damn when you break down Jerry Moore's all time record, you clowns would fired him after year 6, but thank goodness Rachel Laney didn't jump the gun.

You never know when the break through is coming!!

Would it be safe to imply we are "Jekyll & Hyde" defined? Anyway, this coming Tuesday night is a tipping point and this season could go either way. It's my hope that App comes out improved, focused and sandpapers some ass on national TV in two days. I'll hold my prediction until Big C's weekly analysis. Go Apps!!

Now post all of the coaches to ever exist that never amounted to anything as a head coach. Stop using comparisons of some of the greatest coaches ever in the college game, thinking it's a guarantee Clark will once be on that list.

I know you like using statistics, although usually only one sided when it favors your point...the majority of new head coaches don't go on to have successful careers. Just like the majority of players drafted in any sport don't go on to have successful careers. Simple numbers.

I still feel with the mixture of what I've seen from Clark and the fact the Sun Belt is a solid conference, we won't win the conference with him at head coach. Have I ever said fire him? Not that I can recall. If it's what we have and DG decides to keep him, then all we can do is wish and hope for the best. As much as I "complain" I still tune in every week and cheer on the team. Never have I hoped for a loss. But, like you said there could be a break through. Nobody knows what the future holds.

Coastal isn't very good this year. While we have had extra time to prepare so have they. Any loss to them is a really bad loss all things considered- home game, national TV, consideration of remaining conference games for us, etc. A nail biter of a win like we had against ULM would still be a win but would also put us in that middle of the pack level. JMU and Marshall are probably legit good and Stink
won't be a pushover. I think this is statement time. We need a 3 score type win.

Any home loss is a bad loss (unless we are playing a top 10 P5/4 team) - not saying that would be a good loss however

Meh I’m a Clark truther and if you want to play that game look at the Wyoming score
So here we are. It is not clear where we are. Are we basically as good as UNC and Wyoming or are we almost as bad as ULM. For me, not knowing is the issue. We should beat Coastal. But feels like yet another "must win".

You don’t get to decide how App Alums feel.

We know your stance no matter the outcome.

Why should others Move on if you can’t.
