Sorry, I’m really starting to hate this board. We say we are blue collar and do more with less but cry and moan when we don’t throttle similar competition. We dont have the nation’s 2ND leading rusher since the first play. We are playing the 3 time OPOY in the SunBelt. Spotted them 14 and we are here. Ffs

We like to play a base defensive scheme first drive, kind of like traffic cones. Just to see what they do. We don’t react so we don’t show our film for the next opponent. It’s frustrating as a player, but makes sense as a coach.

I like the call with mismatch, it's just frustrating that we seem to struggle at the LOS in the Red Zone for most series. Just not as dominate up front anymore? IDK

Lugenbill should be pretty familiar with App. He lives in Waxhaw (or used to, anyway-lived 2 doors down from my best friend). His some is a pretty highly rated player now for Weddington.

I’m well aware of it, just think it is incredibly stupid to essentially spot the opposition points on the first drive.

No dice here. Coastal has looked like shit all year. They looked like the 2020 team against us in the 1st quarter.

Occasionally people want to see solid victories. But it’s this EVERY WEEK. If we had done what was necessary against Wyo and ULM then it would be different

You’re right. His son snaps at Weddington. Texted their coach when Luginbill gave the Weddington Warriors a shout out. Pretty sure his son has been on visits to App this year and came to our camps this summer. Would be cool to land him, he’s a very good snapper.

Didn’t agree with that call but what a catch!!!!
How could he not go for it? Defense has been schooled. The only way we win is to match their scores this late in the game.

So much option, which they haven’t done this year.

And right on cue they hit a big one. Probably not much we could have done to stop that one in the secondary
