Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Has to improve. This loss did not help our chances of going to the NIT if we don’t go to the NCAA tournament.
Given the new NIT format, our chances for the NCAA are probably better and they aren't very good odds based on Saturday. Perhaps we'll feel better after Tuesday. Not sure all this preseason build up helped our cause. I think we all expected a better start.

We are 1 and 1. Probably a little early to be worried about what if any chance we have to go to a tourney. There are a lot of new faces on this team. With actual game time to gel, who knows what they will turn out to be...good or bad. Let's give it a little time. Our best bet getting to THE Tourney is to win the conference. Let's see if they can work out the kinks in time for conference play and go get it!

I am a big Kerns fan. I had and kind of still have some hope for this year. But a team, our team, my team, which is supposed to be solid on defense gave up 91 to an... okayish team.

Poor opponent in game one did us no favors. What worked against them won't against comparable comp .NIU looked like a pretty good team coming off a game with Marquette which made them better. We need to open with a Notre Dame , or Western Carolina....

Western beat Notre Dame and not MTSU. What a week. Wish we played them this year.
