I’m not as positive as you for this game (yet), but one thing I’m really pumped about - Regardless of outcome today, we have a defense again. I have desperately missed having some dogs. Our dline is balling, I love it.

Sloan has done a fairly amazing job transforming this defense in four games.

Need the offense to get some points here and give them some cushion. They are softening us up underneath for a big play.

Statistically, JMU is the best defense in the SB and 1 of the best in the nation. They don’t make mistakes and give up big plays. Worse thing offense can do is make mistakes by forcing it too much. Take what the D gives you, complete passes, with runs to keep them honest, and hope you have the talent to put a drive or two together and get some scores as defense is playing lights out. Worse thing that can happen is force a play that gives JMU momentum and an edge to their offense.
To beat this team, I have no problem with how we’re playing minus a few dropped balls.
