That was an embarrassing drive on our defense. They literally ran all over us. Not sure they even tried a pass on that series. They found what worked and stuck with it. Something we don't ever do. Our offense is based on the pass and we better get back to it quickly or we won't win.

Defense isn’t even set at the snap for half that drive

Time to open up the playback. Let Joey do what he does and live or die with his arms

We’re just not strong on the lines. We managed to hide a lot of sins, but we are being exposed tonight. This HAS to be solved in the offseason.

Defense has reverted back to early season problems.

I disagree. I think the game plan has been pretty good. Maybe a few bad calls. I agree with someone else, Troy is the best team App has played this year. JMU has the better record, but against a soft schedule. Troy is legit, and their lines are beating App, which is how games are won. Still time left though…

Nope. Can’t call dive right on every third and one and win. Horrible playcalling today.

Did we just throw the game or what? Half the drive our guys didn't have defense called and were looking at sidelines for call when the ball was snapped. That's piss poor coaching and a very JV look. I'm not trying to bandwagon that just sucked bad. Evidently we didn't practice tempo last week

Plenty of time left. Clearly was our worst series on defense. Offense has to score this drive.

Yes. It may sound crazy, but it's possible you aren't the leading expert in coaching or football strategy on this random internet message board. The "elitist" attitude of some posters has gotten stale.

I’m not saying they totally dropped the ball or we had a game plan. But just little moments have made a difference. Our defense didn’t look ready for half the plays that last series and they took full advantage. That false start on Drews. These are little moments but they’ve made the difference. We’ve made these mistakes they haven’t

Troy is holding inside on every play. Zero calls all day. I've seen them tackling or guys and hasn't been a single call. Doesn't matter though, they are outplaying us.

We are getting beat by a Bigger Oline..... again
UL twice

Plus, we seem to think that we need to give the other team the lead every game

I feel the same. I also would like to see him use his legs some and force them to adjust to that.
