Re: Cute bow vs Miami (OH)
After being embarrassed let’s see if our DL and OL bounce back. It will come down to this as the formula on how to play us is easy after yesterday. Time to step up and end the season on a positive note.

I know it’s too soon, but for those of you more in the know than me. Post details like the team hotel as you get them. It’s always fun to stay where the team stays. Looking forward to this one.

Re: Cute bow vs Miami (OH)
The Miami lines were tough... the support was not as much.
If App throws for a lead AND continues to ATTACK we can smoke them.
IF we call the same STUPID plays that causes us to fall behind...... God Bless Us
I will have nothing but bad thoughts about the hardheaded coaches.

About as good as we could have hoped for. Saturday game in a good location against a pear conference champion. Coaches can sell this as something to prove by beating the MAC champion and proving the Sun Belt is one of the top G5 conferences.

Anyone know if Yosef club sets up trips for bowl games? A bus, or anything.

Sorry, I thought you played until the final second. Didn’t know you can stop the score when you feel like it.

I think fan buses have been set up previously for games in Alabama. I've never been to Orlando and would love to see a game in the Bounce House. Maybe someone will get the wheels turning again.

I wouldn't say embarrassed, but it wasn't that close of a game. They gifted us 3 points on the fumbled punt to give us a chance. IMO, we just got beat by a better team.

Re: Cute bow vs Miami (OH)
There were a few unfortunate plays, spots, and penalties that changed the complexion of that game. Our crucial situational play calling needs to be examined - running up the middle into the strength of a defense when they no we are headed there, especially when we have had an unsuccessful conversion rate is nuts compared to taking the chance with our rate of success passing
We improved immensely the last 1/4 of the season and we do a lot of things right.Give us the Coastal or ODU game, the championship is in Boone and maybe we curb stomp them? There isn’t much difference in Us, JMU and Troy.

Im good with this bowl for one big reason. It is airing on ABC at 3:30 on a saturday. The other two tie ins, new orleans and the conway bowl are both on ESPN. ABC will get a ton more eyes on it. Im quite certain the App powers saw this.
The Armed Forces bowl would ha e been cool too.

Beating AFA in a bowl would have been spectacular for my day-to-day at the office. Good chunk of the people I work with went there.appdaze wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 6:04 pmIm good with this bowl for one big reason. It is airing on ABC at 3:30 on a saturday. Re: Cute bow vs Miami (OH)
I live about 2 hours from the stadium and have spent a little time in O town.
Warning - traffic is bad, very bad. 20 minute drives can take 20 minutes or two hours.
Believe some of the game related activities will be at City Walk (Universal). Recommend going if you're in town. Warning parking is $25-30 but free after 6.
If you can take the crowds and haven't been, Downtown Disney/Disney Springs will be decorated for Christmas, is free and pretty neat (once). Some good restaurants there too.
Lots of outlets for shopping (only if you must).
Don't know the UCF area very well so most of these are on the other side of town, Bay Hill/Dr. Phillips/I Drive areas...
Been good for me - eats/ restaurants.
Italian - Christini's - long time local favorite. A little pricey but you might run into a celebrity. Reservations Good for anniversary, birthday, quiet date night
Deli -Too Jay's- Classic traditional Deli with above average entrée's (Chicken Capri).
Cooper's Hawk Winery - Okay food, the Almond sparkling wine is worth the price of admission. Park in back or use the valet.
Spanish/Cuban - Columbia - In Celebration. Legendary. All good but get the 1905 salad with your meal. Go Early or make reservations.
Steak - Linda's La Cantina - classic old steak house. Been in business since the late 1940's. Not fancy, very solid. Not far from UCF. Make reservations
There is a ton of things to do. Some of it free. Recommend you plan ahead and pick what is important to you. And check the launch schedule at NASA. Make plans or just look up.
