Yep that always have some kind of excuse - WV was without key player as well. However they missed because of injury. 1st team all-american center - their top RB - 2 starting DLmen - One team showed up to play and the other sort of just showed up. I had a hole fan complaining about not having all their players and I told him maybe that shows something about the players - care more about themselves than the team

I know you're digging me there and that is OK - Beginning of last season he was in big trouble and it got no better as the season progressed and then the AD who gave him something like a 37 Million buy-out was fired. New AD decided to give him another year.
Look, most every WVU wanted him to succeed, including me. Holgerson was an ass and cared nothing about the culture of West Virginia. Brown is a wholesome caring family man and I think he finally "got" it, but he would not have survived another year like last year.
UNC had more 4-5 star recruits than WVU, App and Duke combined and all 3 should have beaten them.
Again, Mack is the most overrated coach in the country as is his team every year

UNC lost 5 of their last 7 with one of those wins being Campbell. What a joke of a football program. They will probably start next season in the top 20. Always fun to watch them fall.

To which season are you referring? I can think of several seasons (read: every) where this has been the case.

I guess if it keeps you warm, the hate is good. To beat up on a team because their backups aren’t as good as another team’s backups,ok. These games are largely meaningless anymore and frankly, I’m loving watching Delaware’s own Flacco cheat age. 20+ FSU players aren’t playing, no one cares so why should we?

Backups for this game perhaps, but 1-5 against the last 6 FBS teams they played, 5 of those games with the amazing Drake Maye and other starters.
