In my opinion Clemson has fallen back to earth. I'll put them in the Wake, State and UNC category.
You all know what that could mean on any particular Saturday!

they aren't world beaters but Clemson baseline is higher than those teams.

Are they beatable? I think so. But so was 2022-2023 UNC

It’s a winnable game but we will have to play lights out.

I think our skill players on offense can hang with them, our defensive front could struggle without adding some size in the middle.

We’ll need them to make some mistakes along the way. Not sure how I feel about them playing Georgia the week before.

Cade Klubnik is not that dude. He may develop into that dude with another off season but he struggled mightily at times in 2023. I feel as good going into this game as I did about A&M, Penn State and Miami. There’s a very real unease in Clemson’s fan base and a big loss to Georgia to open the season could lead to a softer crowd in Game 2.

I believe we have the pieces to make the game very interesting.

We have our folks too. I can pretty much guarantee you that if Joey makes a single bad read or throws a pick the two guys behind me will be screaming for the next QB for the rest of the season. And make no mistake, according to those two we should never, never, never run the inside zone. Well except for when it pops for big yards or a TD. Then it’s ok.
