We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

It baffles me how someone can choose to get angry because media outlets actually did the right thing and respected the family's wishes for privacy. What a miserable human being.

I stumbled on an article from a WV paper (Chuck Landon, I think) that stated how shocked Coach Clark was due to passing of Jack. Article pointed out that the guys had just completed the run up Howards Knob and that Jack passed a couple of hours later. Didn't know if y'all had seen this account. So sad. Continued prayers for Jack's family and all of App family as well.

“I did his exit meetings every year. I always ask the players, ‘Who is our team leader?’ Ninety-seven out of 98 kids said, ‘Jack Murphy.’ The only person that didn’t say ‘Jack Murphy’ was Jack Murphy.

Not publicly. At this point, the family should be the ones to tell that story or authorize telling of that story if they want to. And right now, they got services on Thursday and Friday.
