I don't know a ton about baseball but I love this team...they play incredibly hard...just curious...if we somehow beat S.Miss twice...then lose in the championship...is there a chance of an at large bid?

Probably not. It’s a similar situation as with basketball where there are some good wins and atrocious losses. We are 73rd in RPI rankings with is 9th I the sunbelt and the coastal series being apps only quad 1 wins in the regular season (2-7 overall). With 33 at-large bids app is way outside the at-large conversation.

Just go 1-0 and see what happens.
Beating 3 potential NCAA tourney teams down the stretch would help.

Like you just thinking 1-0 right now and hope to beat USM. I personally don't think we can get in the at-large conversation because of the bad losses.

I did think this projection by Baseball America is interesting as it shows some respect for our league though. It looks like they feel we get 3 in for sure and could get a 4th team.
