Nothing and I mean Nothing stirs my passion more than a challenge from Georgia Southern. Make no mistake App Nation will be ready for this game. It's going to be cold, perfect weather to play our southern rival. The Rock will rock Saturday afternoon. When this game is done, I'm going to grab the closest GS fan and shake his hand for a hard fought game, nothing less than I expected, and wish him safe travel to that dreary place he came from. Go App!!!

Looking forward to a good game Saturday. Beautiful scenery up there minus the hillbillies and inbreeders(albeit nice hillbillies and inbreeders), so it should be a nice trip. App always saves up for us as we do for them so I won't be putting any money on either team. I hate you guys and this game will not change that but I sure am glad we're moving up together. Screw this private school league! Here's to a hard fought last meeting that I hope we win going away.

Can't wait to see you peanut fart sniffing, peach pit crapping, tractor pull attending, two-tooth having, sister craving, double wide living in, beach nut spitting, gnat swatting, halfwits at The Rock. Come on up! Bring Mama June and Honey Boo Boo with you. I understand they live in the vicinity and get their jollies going over to Gnatsboro for recreational purposes.

In the unlikely event of an App State Win, I wonder how it will be blamed on the refs this year?

If so, we can only hope that Stinkboro's finest don't bring enough mouth-breathing, FUPA-having, Honey Boo Boo types to swamp the officials' escape vehicle.

I can't make the game this week but I fully expect it to be another great one even if it's ugly. I'm hoping we can survive 4 quarters at the rock in spite of all of our missing players and bring back a W some way some how.

No matter what happens GATA EAGLES and i'm glad this is not our last game against each other.

PLEASE,PLEASE stop talking so bad about the SOCON as our record in it this year does not bode well for us. let's just go quietly and maybe nobody will notice it.

Upset that I can't make it back to Boone for the last SoLong battle between the two schools. Very glad that we get to continue the rivalry in the SunBelch though.

All things aside...GSU coaches/players/fans know that this is going to be a slobber-knocker no matter what the records are of the two schools. Sincerely hope for an injury free game and have no reason to expect yet another great/classic matchup between the two schools. Records don't matter in this series. 2006 is a great reminder of that. One ASU's best teams vs. one of GSU's worst teams and it still came down to OT in Statesboro.

Ok...that's it for the "good will" and niceties. Pure hate from here on till Sunday.

It's 12:45 in SoCal....and App St. still sucks!

GATA EAGLES!

Along with getting in bar fights, it's good to know Brent Russell enjoys a good slide.

Don't worry, '89. It's just that redneck Georgia mean-streak that has to show itself every now and then...a la, Brent Russell.
