Coaches need to get a hold of their players before they’re all brawling post game.

Gritty comeback, undermanned defense answered the call.

Must get better run blocking.

I’m here to eat crow. Aguilar showed out in the last 3 quarters and the “D” shut them down.

Well we and ECU have the same record. Wouldn't thought that after the Clem game.
I thought we would.

Question is... how good or bad is ECU? Did we beat a good team in their house?

A win is a win… but damn we gotta figure out the run game… not sure if it’s OL issues or the fact we kept running up the middle. Proud of the fight and always proud to be a mountaineer 💪🏻

Middling AAC team is my answer. But, we beat an in-state AAC team at their home. I don't care if they are good or not at this point.

On to South Alabama that was a full week of rest to us only having 5 days rest.

Lost the 1st quarter 16-0. Won the next 3 quarters 21-3.
HAVE to be better in the first quarter, and hold on to the ball, but a win regardless.

Defense deserves the praise tonight. They played their asses off. The challenge now is to build off of it and keep going. No setbacks.

Congrats to the guys righting the ship! But man we can’t start out like that every game. Still not sold on Clark and we still have a lot to clean up. Some of it is Clark and some of it is not.

so we won in Greenville for the first time since 1958 or whatever was said before the game.
Also, we swept the 3 game series. Their fans feel this should be a regular rivalry but maybe they don't feel as strongly about that now.

Cahari Haynes has a nose for the ball. #24. He was my standout of the night.

Props to coaches for making adjustments and for putting the right subs on the right spots. Def wasn't pretty but when you are down that many starters....it's def an accomplishment to win.
Any time you walk out an opposing stadium with a W, it's a good day.
