I am not familiar with the source website. How much credibility should be put in to this?

I think Dozier was one of the 2 or 3 that really wanted to go to us but that was back when we waited about 5 games into their sr. season to really start recruiting players. (The old "we are ASU and you will come to us whenever we decide to offer") sickness. The recruits made friends with other recruiters and when they offered before us they took the offer. After '07 we should have beat the bushes and had some of the best O linemen in the country.

What I want to see from the remaining 4 games is what we saw in the GS game, if we get that kind of effort and execution from the OL, Ill be satisfied that Ledford is starting to get the results, and building a solid foundation.
Excellent observation!

My point in the post was that here was an OL that is draftable that we missed on for whatever reason. They were out there, we just did not get them

They've broken news on our assistant coaches hiring/firings in the past.

91 you make a very good point - we did target some guys who chose to go elsewhere - guys who most probably could have helped us - but that happens to everyone - even Alabama --- unfortunately we don't have quite as long a "list" as the Tide :o

I hope you guys hold YOSEF to the same high expectations that you do everybody else!....and produce at the level you expect others to produce....and do it with 18-22 year olds.

I am a pretty dang good at what I do today....but 33 years ago at the age of 22 I did not have a clue.

EVERYTHING worth doing well takes time.....Nothing worth while is a hAPPening....if it were, we'd all flip that switch.
Go APPS!

Nothing more than that. Not entirely unexpected due to the transition.

Here's out current coaches.

Scott Satterfield - HFC/playcaller
Nate Woody - Defensive Coordinator
Dwayne Ledford - Co-Offensive Coordinator (running game)/Offensive Line Coach
Frank Ponce - Co-Offensive Coordinator (passing game)/QB Coach
Bryan Brown - Cornerbacks Coach
Chris Foster - Running Backs Coach
Mark Ivey - Outside Linebackers/Special Teams Coach
Dale Jones - Defensive Line Coach
Scot Sloan - Recruiting Coordinator/Secondary Coach
Justin Stepp - Wide Receivers Coach
Kareem Young - Strength and Conditioning Coach

So if this is coming out weeks before the season is over, it seems some decisions have already been made.
Just a suggestion, T-Dog, why don't we wait to see how the season plays out before we start advocating and speculating on specific personnel changes as some in this thread have done. So many on here seem to trust our A.D. to the ultimate, so let's let him and our Head Coach make those decisions. Again, merely a suggestion.

Is there anyone here that would have any say in those decisions? I don't think they need us to "let" them do anything, as they're the only decision-makers.

He saw something on a website and posted it here. It's relevant to App football, and a thousand time better use of space than your countless "rep point" posts that add absolutely nothing.

As to pointless posts, a couple hundred at least saw fit to respond to my "pointless" posts and many even gave rep points.

Exactly, bit we've had several MMB'ers. past and present who have contacted the PTB in the past advocating the hiring and/or firing various individuals.
One, last Spring or summer, indicated that large donors, like himself, should have input in athletic personnel matters.

I think you might be missing the point of message boards in general.

I have no idea who will be retained or shown the door; I just hope SS makes good decisions on the replacements. One bad hire can have serious consequences...as evidenced by the hiring of McClain as OL coach.

Sorry if this has been beat to death, but I think T-Dog was just posting what he saw, just like everyone else has done and which is kind of the purpose of the MMB. I don't think he was saying "we should" change our coaches.
