Drink was not really similar. We didn't have warm and fuzzies because he really lacked a resume. But people in the know knew he was up and coming.

UNCC seems to be getting close to the coach at Ohio who just won the MAC. Guy reloaded via the portal multiple times, including replacing nearly every starter from last year. Game 1 next year may be a bad dream if he’s able to replicate it in Concord.

I’m not sure there are many similarities other than it’s an OC from a state university in the Carolinas. This doesn’t seem like a safe pick, and it doesn’t seem like a high ceiling pick.Wil hope for the best.

We either just hired a guy that can turn the program back into a competitor or a guy that interviews well. Time will tell.

How's it a knee jerk reaction? It's reported he's being hired....he hasn't had much success...and we get to talk about the hire. He's got a lot to prove. For folks to be skeptical of the hire is not earth shattering.
