I am ready to run through a brick wall.
He talks fast, but man, his energy is contagious. My leg is shaking, can't stop it.
He’s nervous. He has slowed down and gotten more confident.

I’m glad he’s nervous. He is taking it seriously.

His points are great but the delivery was not what I expected..... He's either super nervous or so excited he cant slow his brain down. Probably a little of both. I can def understand him better than Clark. He seems to the point on things, which I like. As he got going he started to settle in. I'm impressed..... I have to admit. Lets go!

Very nervous - but this is his first HC introductory press conference. To be expected.

A good football coach is only as good as his staff and players.... let's see who he can hire and then see who he can put on the roster,

1A and 1B

Salary Pool
NIL / Revenue Sharing Pool

Was told that the University of Tenn is cutting their NIL Football money back from 23 million to 18 million because next year Revenue Sharing comes in to play. Yes that is just for Football. 23 million dollars.
I mean having lived in Knoxville, you have an entire state full of people, some with more money than sense all rooting for one school. We’ll never capture that level of fandom financially.

I like that he added in the part about the player's "spiritual well-being".

A big selling point of his will be getting more guys into the NFL. You can not under estimate this.

One thing that jumps out to me about this guy.... now I'm going to put a disclaimer on this... I'm not poking fun at Clark, just stating a fact. The level of intelligence Loggains exudes is leaps and bounds above what we have seen in the past few years.

I believe Loggains obtained assurances that the resources he needs to be successful will be given to him.

I am very excited about our future.

Is Daniel Kilgore at the press conference? Jokes aside, I would not be surprised if Kilgore ends up being OL coach.

He was nervous when he was trying to give his formal written speech but when he started speaking from the heart he nailed it and won me over. Love this guy!!

All I needed to hear:

“We should have been playing this last weekend.”

Dead. On. I don’t care how tough the Sun Belt got. Hoping to be competitive in the division or getting in the championship on a technicality ain’t it.

Poor question from the one media guy..how long do you expect to be here....let the freaking guy meet his players and put together a staff....and find a home to rent or buy...geez

once he started talking about football- he did just fine.

This helped calm a lot of my reservations about him. I really liked his nuance around the transfer portal and the parallels with NFL free agency. This guy has a wide breadth of contacts I'm hoping we gave him the resources to put together a top staff for the sunbelt. I wish somebody asked if he was going to be the offensive coordinator and thus be able to bring in a higher caliber DC.

I knew someone was going to bring up his long term plan and all his moves.

it was Dave Coulson- completely expected, I wouldn't be surprised if hes one of the guys that posts on here about the "snake" Drinkwitz who ruined our fanbase by going 13-1 and then having the audacity to take 8X more money than we could offer.

A couple things I'm going to infer...

-He's going to put together a very experienced, Professional staff ala Drink. Probably journeymen with NFL backgrounds. This is good.

-I think a big goal of his will be getting guys into the NFL and selling this.

Not a Coulson fan for other reasons, but reporters sometimes ask seemingly dumb questions to get great answers. Dowell gave a great answer. It's not about the reporter trying to sound smart like others do just to get crap answers.
