On a more positive note - game might get pushed back but looks like there is a window to get the game in. Anybody gonna venture to the game? I was thinking about it but 45 degrees has me thinking otherwise
Getting it in! Moved back to 4pm so plan accordingly.
Looks like we might get 3 in this weekend, need 2 wins.
Odd. Game is postponed even though it’s dry the rest of the day.
Maybe can play 2 tomorrow when it’s warmer?

I figure they don't want to mess the field up. Definitely won't play tomorrow with a 1/2 inch in the forecast. Suppose to blow through early but they won't let them play on the field.

I get that they don’t want to mess the field up for the A ball team but they’re still 45 days out from opening day. That’s a lot of rain overnight though, would be a wet surface tomorrow.
Wonder if they’ll try to move it and play at Queens park. We will see.

Gotta be a turf field somewhere, right?

Might need a contract with the High Point Rockers. 1hr 45 mins. Getting “rained” out with 2 home fields is funny.

Nice of LR to let us use their facilities. They played 2 today at home (turf) so it must be playable.

At least nobody has to make a plane.

Very grateful to LR for allowing this. I hope we pay them back with some games in non-football sports.

Might need them again next weekend if Crawdads continue to not let us play if field is wet. Snow/Ice storm next week. LR is home again next weekend too.

It might be a very long season JT. We shouldn’t lose to Queens in anything.
We all had similar concerns with hoops after their rough start, but they turned it around after New Years.

We didn’t lose to Queens. But yes, a turnaround is possible.

SBC baseball and SBC basketball are like comparing apples to oranges... two different animals... whatever analogy one wants to use

Just hope Queens is a decent team and we aren’t 1 of their 14 to 17 wins like the past couple of years…

Good share Stonewall.
A little awkward interviewee, not sure Kermit was enjoying that one.

A lot of RPI auto bid talk. Losing to Queens kills the RPI if we want autobid shot, will have to make it up with a few wins over some top teams like Wake Duke CofC and the top of the conference.

Kermit stole your line…”just win”. Or did you steal his line!?! Ha!
