That’s wild. It’s snowing hard at Beech Mountain and creeping towards Boone. 35 degree difference, 1 hour drive.Appmountaineers19 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 2:18 pmOther than being windy it is a beautiful day. Sunny and actually around 60°.

Oh gosh. 9 run lead 14-5 down to 5 runs.
14-9. Come on guys, close it out. Getting late in the day.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
We didn’t really go get any arms. It’ll be the same guys from last year with a spattering of newcomers-which is worrisome.

Still have Welch Harris Tramontana and Lewis. Hope we don’t need them all for game 2.

#11 will probably not be playing. He got hit with a pitch right in the meat of the calf. I could hear the thud all the way out in right field

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
For you guys who love to identify players by their jersey numbers, 90 percent of us have no idea who you’re talking about. That was cute and clever back in the 70s, but you’d be doing us all a favor by taking one extra second to spell out the player’s name.

Kramer, he of the .833 average so far, singles in 2 runs to give us the 2-0 lead in the 1st. Go Apps!
