The month of April is shaping up to be HOT HOT HOT for App State football. Big time recruits visiting, the spring game and excitement. Hopefully the commitments start coming in from these efforts!

Gooch wasn’t medically cleared by our doctors. Farrar is still recovering from injury. I guess Loggains isn’t going to keep guys that are injured.

I am wondering if Farrar decided to just enter portal on his own? Loggains might encourage some to leave but some of these who leave are likely doing it on their own for opportunity.

Gooch didn’t play last season and was deemed medically retired. Farrar played 2 games. Farrar is the bigger loss but his injury is no cakewalk either. I am sure DJ has a few in mind (I don’t know personally) but as always, getting them to Boone will be the challenge.

The staff knows they have to win and it better start August 29. They cannot rely on tape, stars, hope or midseason scheme changes like the last staff. They have to trust the doctors and fix the holes. We were 5-6 with a fired coach for a reason. The entire defense needs to be rebuilt in some form (depth, Starters, future, etc.)

These portal announcements are like people announcing they are leaving a facebook group because someone was mean to them.... If the players want to be paid and be treated like professional players then so be it. You get hurt and can't play, we move on. I say don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya. We don't need a poetic book on why you are leaving. Just leave. I'm just over all of this crap and these players thinking they are bigger than the program. Once they leave they will be an after thought. The train keeps on rolling and leaves the station with or without you.
