Oh no. Another double RBI. 5-5. They tied it. How do we keep doing this?

We should have subbed in Charlie Evans for defense.

Catch a ball and win that one. Didn’t get it done. Nose dive continues.

5-3 lead. 2 outs B10. No one on base. Wilson had pitched 8 innings already.

How do you lose that game? It might be time to start questioning leadership.

Contract runs through 2027 if I remember correctly. I don’t see a change unless it’s at the assistant level, which probably should happen but I’m not qualified to make that call. Perhaps our hot streak against some really poor teams gave us false hopes ?

Analytical Britt? Losing to too many bad teams. Pitching coach.
Just thought we were passed losing to bad teams. And we’ve lost to plenty this year.

The team is 1-11 since the game where Baseball pulled a Shawn Clark and sold the interlocking AS hat as part of throwback Thursday but the team didn't wear the hat during the game.

Calling for a coaching change after a bad finish to this season? I think the staff needs to and will have to revisit their approach on some things, but calling for a coaching change is a bit much right now. They've barely had enough healthy players to field a team at times this season. Maybe all that has taken a toll and the guys are out of mentally?

No doubt they are spent both physically and mentally . In addition, down the stretch we have played the best teams( sans South Al).we need better fielders and more speed and better pitching. Speed will allow us to be more aggressive on the base paths. Recruit better. However, we are probably getting the best we can get so continued development of players will be key!

Injuries are part of the game , everyone has them, good teams overcome. We aren’t very good.

It's been a rough year no doubt. Pitching is and always will be a liability until proven other wise. The nice thing is IF they can keep this core of position players they should be better as a whole next year. (not convinced all will be back) The schedule is the schedule. That's an excuse about when the play certain teams. I don't know how the solve the problem in the early part of the season about getting outside to practice other than (vanning?) them off the mountain. Just part of the list of things not in favor of making this team a consistent challenger in the SBC. KS seems very loyal to his coaches. Not sure changes will becoming. Wish they had their own S/C coach that specializes in baseball. Anyway - they showed grit yesterday the 2nd game and have their back against the wall going forward. I think you will see the real character of the team these next few games regardless of talent. Get in the tourney and upset someone.

Couldn't. He played the 1st 8 innings. Figs pinch hit for him on the 9th and started the game tying rally.
