Yeah I was on 247 and asked if he could speak to the state of the program. I got a diatribe of the "positives". I knew right there nothing was going to be said. This situation has the same vibes as the whole football thing.

Wonder how much NIL Murray States baseball program gets? (Didn’t know they had baseball to be honest)

I was wondering about their overall budget. It’s a basketball school with FCS football. No idea what their payroll is but I bet it will increase.

I knew the team didn't perform the way we thought they should, but this sounds life internal conflict to me, but maybe I'm wrong. From the outside, I just figured the team and coach were good, but I have no clue.

We are at half a dozen plus or minus to the Portal. I was told to expect that on the low side , 10 or so at most. Things can change. Some things need to apparently , but I don’t have first hand knowledge, just shared viewpoints of those that do.

We will have at least one Mountaineer in a regional. Hayden Cross will be back in NC with Murray State.
