It really is. I expect Sampson, Judkins, and Strong to make their roster but if they keep 4 RBs on 53-man roster then you would have to think he has a real shot to at least make practice squad. I figured it comes down to Taua, Ford, and Marshall for last spot.

He was at the Browns rookie minicamp but I don’t think he was ever signed to be on the actual roster for training camp.

Speaking of Cleveland, Bucky Williams was signed by the Browns today.

Mike Fletcher is also with the Jets.

We should have won more games.

We should have won a few more than we did for sure but a lot of these players were from Satt and Drink draft classes. I also don't expect more than 10 of these guys to make a 53-man roster either.

I did not watch it live but did they really? I saw online he was credited to App State. Seeing how good he looks make me wonder what his numbers would have been had he been healthy. I wondered if he was really hurt the entire time. I remember hearing many players were sitting on bench that should have been playing so I did not know how much of it was injury. Marshall was easily a top 2-3 RB in the Sun Belt over his last 5 games.

Not to derail this thread or pile on the former staff but…the running back shuffle in games seemed strange. None of us were the coaching staff and none of us that I know of were in practices or on the sidelines so we really don’t know why but we never seemed to keep a hot hand or never really let a guy get a bunch of carries. We proved for many years that it could be done with great success- see the list of great App backs.

Our offensive line was the issue not the talent at RB. Roberts can have a monster year if the line comes together.

He is just another example of why we needed a change. Marshall was easily a top 2-3 RB in the Sun Belt over his last 5 games. He should have been a 1,100+ yard rusher.

Yes the did. And I agree, from what I could tell Marshall should have been on the field a lot more than he was. He simply looked like a guy who was sick of the mediocre play and I do believe he could have been a different maker.

The old regime was reluctant to offer guidance on injuries, leaving fans in the dark about why players were or weren’t seeing playing time. That likely was the case with Marshall.
