OPINION- Projected 2025 App State Rotation
Many have asked me about certain players, so I figured I would give MY personal depth chart projection. A lot of it is based on knowledge, but some of it based on MY opinion. This is not meant to be a bible and as we all know, these things will change throughout the year.
The most fluctuations will be at DL and DB. The rotations are interchangeable. Just because a guy is listed third, doesn’t mean they will get less snaps than a guy listed second. Quite frankly, there are a lot of bodies in the secondary with a lot of position interchanges. Apologies if any names are spelled incorrectly.
Qb - Swann, Gillon, Kohl, Wiles
Rb - Dubinon, Keith, Lewis, Alexander
WR - Stroman, Lawson, Mbake
WR - Dozier, Sanchez, Fowles
WR - Barnes, Coleman, Leon
TE - Larkins, Cummings, Hamlett, Acord
LT - J. Ramsey, Funk
LG - Jackson, Sweatt, Scroggs
C - Flowers, Schmo, Sweatt
RG - T. Ramsey, Williams
RT - Poindexter, Burgess

Star - McBurrows, Favors, Robinson

Re: OPINION- Projected 2024 App State Rotation
Thanks for the insight. Do you think Robert’s would have been RB1 or RB2 or part of a 1a/1b with dubinionASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 4:17 pmMany have asked me about certain players, so I figured I would give MY personal depth chart projection. Thanks for putting this together. I was excited about Mbake when we signed him. Hoping he would be an instant impact.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 4:17 pmMany have asked me about certain players, so I figured I would give MY personal depth chart projection. Re: OPINION- Projected 2024 App State Rotation
I think it would have been a 1a/1b. It will be more of a clearly defined RB1 and RB2 now but there are still probably going to be 20-30 carries to players that aren’t RB1 if the run game is as effective as coaches believe it will be.BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 4:34 pmThanks for the insight. And for the first time in a long, long time I don’t really recognize any of these names.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 4:17 pmMany have asked me about certain players, so I figured I would give MY personal depth chart projection. I think he has the talent to be an instant impact player, but so far he has not shown the coaches enough based on what I’ve been told.appstate24 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 5:35 pmThanks for putting this together. Don't see him listed here. Hearing that Matt Wilson is making a serious push to be high up in the depth chart at QB.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 4:17 pmMany have asked me about certain players, so I figured I would give MY personal depth chart projection. Re: OPINION- Projected 2025 App State Rotation
I’m not hearing that at the moment. He has the most natural ability of the entire room and it has often been told to me “if he gets his head on right, he will be special”. There is a window of opportunity for every player and I’m not sure if that opportunity will come for him at App if Gillon continues to progress the way he has. There is also another top QB committed for 2026 who fits Loggain’s mold.AppStateFan17 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:15 amDon't see him listed here. Re: OPINION- Projected 2025 App State Rotation
one of the nice things about having almost zero to go on is that this feels like the 1st true QB race in a long long time at App. We always had either and entrenched starter or an "heir apparent". 2023 was a good 2 horse race but I think most people assumed Burger was the guy.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 9:11 amI’m not hearing that at the moment. Whoever the guy is, between Loggains, Christensen and Higgins (and I assume Riley Watkins although I don't really know anything about him) we have people that can spot and develop QB talent.
