Bring back welcome to the rock!!
Turn speaker volume down especially before the game. I arrive when gates open; ridiculous to have the volume that high!!!
Campus police in my Section 205 or anytime else did nothing to keep folks from stopping in front of us & blocking the view of Yosef Club members who have paid seating. I came to watch a game; my view should not be interfered with.
The usherette disappeared into the tunnel, leaning up against the wall every time I went to the concourse. Never saw her help with ticket holders.

It is not campus police responsibility to ensure you have an unobstructed view. Ushers, yes, police, no...
They supposedly have more important things to keep an eye on I would believe...

We need to upgrade the video board and the sound system, then turn way up! That place should be rocking. If you've been to any of the ACC schools for a game, it makes our experience look bush league and a new board and sound system is the quickest way to level that playing field. Also, my opinion is that its time to put permanent seating on Miller hill. Get rid of the hill sliding shenanigans, weed parties and the trash dumpster it becomes post game and class up the joint. I'm sure Ill get crucified for saying that, but what was once charming about the hill makes us look bush league. Okay, let me have it.

We cater to the students more than most I’d say. And the hill seems like a party. If they are happy I can’t see us wanting less students to show up if there were changes.

What's to say there will be less students show up if changes are made? The hill could still be for students, just clean it up a bit.

Count me in as one who does not like the new “Welcome To The Rock.” I like the thinking outside of the box, and the attempt at fan engagement, but some things don’t need fixing.

Leave it to Sean Connery, Jerry Moore, Luke Combs. Keep it simple.

Agree. Oddly enough, the only tradition recently with the ops staff, is trying to change/create new traditions…

The little video snippet of the kids in the theater screaming together was one of the "Welcome to the Rock" contest winners. Either because the base sound was messed up or it was too chaotic, you couldn't hear what they were all screaming.

We have had the same discussion about the speakers for years now. Seems like an easy fix yet nothing ever done. All of these things that have/are going wrong could be fixed. It's not like these home games are a surprise. We usually get a year or more in advance notice.

The EMTs told me there were were 2 incidents in 205. One person threw up at the bottom of the steps and another needed medical help.

We've had so many discussions about fan engagement over the years that the only conclusion one can draw is that the athletic department simply does not care how the fans feel.

They had to carry out an elderly person in 201 as well, believe it was diabetic related.

I understand wanting to watch the game, but if someone is in their assigned ticket location and chooses to stand up and cheer, that's absolutely fair. It's a football game, not a golf match. Be loud, be respectful, be engaged. If you struggle to see, move your seat to a higher location.

When they continue to sell out every game, even against opponents that shouldn't generate much interest, complacency can be expected. I hate it too, a couple Turtlebox's on a tailgate is better than what we are listening too now. Although a good sound system would only amplify the dysfunctional content so maybe it's intentional after all.

Although I was unable to attend I watched on TV and I have come to this conclusion. If we're making game day as student-friendly as possible and making the experience as much about the students as possible then do away with the canned music altogether, except when the Band of Distinction is in transit or moving onto or off the field. Allow the BOD (made up of students) provide the music and in-game enthusiasm and spirit. After all we attend the game to watch the student-athletes, why not allow the student-musicians and cheerleaders do their thing?
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

We need another game at Georgia and the 1M they pay us. I think UGA "funded" the current scoreboard

Well, this year hasn’t sold like the last couple. Their pricing likely has something to do with that

A little of don't care (as the games keep being sold out), apathy, maybe lack of oversight from Gillin, or a group of the most dangerous people on earth. Those that don't know that they don't know. Despite angry emails and calls they think they are doing an awesome job. Maybe when Gillin does a presser or podcast someone should ask him about all of this. Would be nice to get a public answer on it. Might be an answer with spin on it or a generic answer .....but at least it's out there

The majority of students at the game don't care about the band music though. They are going crazy during most of the canned music (a lot of it I haven't ever heard before and most of those sound the same to me).

My dad was disappointed about the little use of mountain music. I did get on the board though !
