Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
I am absolutely stoked to see Joey to do well. He is an App alum and deserves the respect that comes along with that. I hope he crushes the SEC this year.

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
Thanks for the share. Comparing Joey to Nussmeier is fair, given their experience leading college teams. But comparing them to Manning is sort of apples-oranges. You almost feel bad for Manning; the media has hyped that kid up to the heavens, and we know how unforgiving Texas fans can be if he doesn't fully meet their expectations.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 12:06 pmhttps://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/ ... a862&ei=13

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
We'll see if Aguilar can hang on to that ranking after Tennessee's matchup against Georgia. If he does, it might be time to start talking about a Heisman campaign for the Vols' starting quarterback.

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
High praise, indeed. Hoping Joey helps the Vols break the streak tomorrow.
Re: Nico, you think he has any regrets yet?
Looks like it could be a long season out in Westwood.

UCLA lost 35 -10
Great venue for a game. However, it is never full unless the Rose Bowl.

I would say Aguilar made a good decision for him. There will be a special on game day this morning.

Looking forward to watching Joey today, hope he absolutely balls out. He’s a Mountaineer and I’ll cheer for him unless he gives me a reason not to

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
it’ll be his biggest test. But Joey is a gamer. I think he can rise to the moment. I’m cheering for him, just wish ESPN would STOP calling him “the UCLA transfer “ haha.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:37 amLooking forward to watching Joey today, hope he absolutely balls out. Great piece on Game Day about Joey. Fan had a "Joey for Heisman" sign.

That opening drive was classic Joey Dimes.

Makes me happy for Joey but sad for us because last season was such a waste of his talent
