We run the ball fairly well. Run defense is pretty good, secondary is suspect on medium to deep balls, that was true last year as well.

We have now missed out on 2 touchdowns and threw 3 picks in the redzone in 3 games. We drop balls and commit too many penalties. How bad is Charlotte that we looked so good against them?

I said that night I’m not sure how good we are but I know UNcC is terrible. I was right.

I still don’t know how good or bad we are, because half the team is injured. I do know our receivers have a hard time catching wide open passes (but I can’t criticize because I don’t know the play call!) and we continue to make a ton of mental errors. Whether those errors can be coached out or not will determine how the season ultimately ends.

I am sure that UNCC is absolutely garbage right now, though. That’s pretty much what we have at the moment
