I'm not sure how this game or the next will go. I'm sure the players and even Coach Loggains will all have Coach Clark in their thoughts and minds. Going to be a tough week for them.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I think that says more about how they see us than how strong they think Boise is. We will have had 2 weeks to recover and to fix mistakes; I think that's a tough spread for Boise to cover. I hope it is anyway. Probably depends on the health of our 1 & 2 QBs along with some critical OL people.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I don't think USM will prove to be more than a 6-6 team this season, Boise's offense will be by far the best we've seen and top 3 we'll face all year.
I hope I'm wrong, but this could be the game that exposes our defense. We've seen glimpses of breakdowns in the secondary.
I hope the under hits on this game (59), if the over hits we're in trouble.

I’ve only seen Boise play once but their QB did not look very good in the game. Maybe a fluke game?Saint3333 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 2:53 pmI don't think USM will prove to be more than a 6-6 team this season, Boise's offense will be by far the best we've seen and top 3 we'll face all year.

I think we lose this one by 14-20 points. The next two games make or break the season . We have to be 3-3 after the first six games. Maybe we can make a run after that.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Probably so.
Winning three in October is going to be critical.
ODU and JMU are likely losses.
CCU until last weekend looked easy now Ark St may be the easiest game remaining especially if they aren’t playing for a bowl game that last weekend.
Toughest to easiest games remaining: JMU, ODU, Boise, GS, OR St, Marshall, CCU, Ark St.

We take JMU again. Think that win they stole from us 3 years ago on the back of several BS calls cursed them against us.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I don’t think our next two games make or break the season. Going 2-2 or better in OOC would be nice, but not a requirement. We still have 7 conference games remaining, with 4 of those at home.

Although the next two games are not meaningless, they do not make or break our season. We have only played one game in conference. Gee willakers people

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
FPI today gives us a 66% chance to win six game. If we go 0-2 the next two it probably brings that down to 50%.
I hope I don’t get the chance to be correct.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I think we'll have a chance to play BSU close if we hang onto the ball. Their defense has struggled so the opportunity to put points on the board is there. OSU isn't very good at all. I'd be disappointed in a loss at home to them. I think we'd have all been happy with a 3-2 start if a poll was taken prior to the season. The SBC looks pretty weak so 6 or 7 wins seems very doable.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I count Oregon state and ga state as must wins. Boise is not as I don’t think we have any chance in that game by the way we have played thus far. Hopefully we don’t get embarrassed.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 5:02 pmAlthough the next two games are not meaningless, they do not make or break our season.
