Another Bitter Story from Asheville
They just don't stop, do they? Jarrett insults our team, fans, new conference, and schedule in the same article. Can't get out of here fast enough.

After I read this comment,
"Progress, as defined by ASU, is moving up to the FCS level and entry next season into the Sun Belt Conference",
it quickly became obvious that the author didn't know his arse from a hole in the ground. You would think a sports reporter would know the difference between FCS and FBS.

As bad as WCU hates this jerk, with App leaving, his fat ass might as well just cover SAC football. Loser working for a money losing liberal rag.

Re: Another Bitter Story from Asheville
This guy has a serious, serious, problem. Totally neglected to mention our home and home announced with Southern Miss the same day as Liberty or our rematch with Michigan, or our home and home with ODU... a team that he praised in the next paragraph that is ALSO in their last year in FCS.MAD Doctor wrote:They just don't stop, do they? We are averaging well over 20k in a 2-8 season this year, and in fact had only one game under 20k all year. Tomorrow's game will pull the average even higher. This guy is a total passive-aggressive TOOL.

Not sure why you guys bother reading stuff that you know will be jaded, inaccurate and sometimes outright lies and then get mad about it??? - it would be like me turning in to see Sean Hannity and expecting an honest account by an esteemed journalist and then getting pissed that it was neither ---

Haha, Keith Jarrett is a joke. Always has been. He tried his best to create a controversy with the Jerry Moore firing. The "article" was filled with jabs, as it always is. Everything he writes is only done to create controversy. WCU fans hate him for the way he trashes them. He's a joke and everyone that actually reads the ACT (all 10 of them) know he's a joke. The fact that he is employed is all you need to know about the ACT. I hope his fat butt reads this, as I'm sure he will get off on "aggravating" App fans. Chances are slim though, not sure he can pull himself away from the fridge long enough.

True, however, need to include Lee Cowan, Brian Williams, etc., they're all the same. Just on different sides of the fence that's all, they all are full of crap. At least that's the way I see it.WVAPPeer wrote:it would be like me turning in to see Sean Hannity and expecting an honest account:o

Based on the 18,500+ for the last game, he is sorta correct about the bandwagon fans. Just saying. Like I have said before, 0-12, Robert's A$$ will still be in the stands. PERIOD!!

Re: Another Bitter Story from Asheville
I've met Keith before in the course of my old job. Even by Asheville standards, the guy is a smug bastard. Regardless of how partisan the ACT can be, this "article" is one of the most factually inaccurate, information-ignoring, inflammatory examples of hack-dom I have ever read.
Not knowing the difference between FCS and FBS is the least if this guy's problem.
By the way, the dude is easily 320lbs. He's just as disgusting physically as he is professionally.

I get your point and agree, but name a daily newspaper that is not a liberal rag other than the Wall Street Journal.

But here is the bitter truth. He has won again. He got the reaction he was looking for and you have increased his readership. If I didn't read it here I never would have known. Anyone else? If we are going to go play with the " big boys " we are going to have to grow much thicker skin because we now have a much better chance of seeing all our warts in regional if not national print. The coverage of our next game at Michigan for example is going to be just a tad different than last time. Put it in the rearview mirror guys. There is more to come over the years.

Heck if some guy from a paper that 99.9999999999% of the population has never heard of makes him crazy he is in for big trouble next year. Kurt Dirtstreet on ESPN is going to have you jumping off a tall building after the Michigan game.Gonzo wrote:A professional troll.bcoach wrote:But here is the bitter truth. He has won again. To be honest, I'd never read anything he wrote previously; just looking for any report on the game, since of course, nothing could be found in the local disturber. Not crying foul, nor did it ruin my day- just making an observation and sharing it with the Nation. I will continue to call BS when I see it and not hide my head in the sand when some hack attacks my Mountaineers.

You've never read the Richmond Times-Dispatch or the Washington Times or the New York Post. There are plenty of conservative rags out there.JCline0429 wrote:luvyosef wrote:As bad as WCU hates this jerk, with App leaving, his fat ass might as well just cover SAC football. Re: Another Bitter Story from Asheville
There should actually be neither. Just report the news. We can think all by our lonesome. The pundits on both sides have there heads up where there is not much oxygen. They actually are worse than our leaders ( both sides )if you can imagine that.hapapp wrote:You've never read the Richmond Times-Dispatch or the Washington Times or the New York Post. I emailed the hack. There are so many inaccuracies and pertinent facts omitted that it is a bush hack job. Why is he so bitter? He should understand why we have to go FBS.

Think of it as the Raleigh News and Observer, but for Virginia.JCline0429 wrote:Actually I've never heard of the Richmond whatever you call it.hapapp wrote:You've never read the Richmond Times-Dispatch or the Washington Times or the New York Post.
