She is a previous Pac12 official......
Is she a SBC official now? Makes sense she couldn’t find work in a P4.

Don’t the visiting teams bring the refs?

As such, makes sense she is from the PAC as all the rest of the refs would be too.

Even if our opponent was and remains winless, this was a huge win. They needed to put something together after the last 4 games of what honestly looked like a mess. Good confidence builder for sure. Great crowd too. Zero turnovers! We still have to work on catching the ball, defense secondary didn't look good at all. Gotta get some answers for those. Goal line stand was EPIC! I dont see us winning conference but definitely a spoiler and feel better about making a bowl now.
We did have the fumble for a safety .

Appears the official in question started in the MEAC, which explains a lot..... If you were in Chattanooga for the Championship in 2007 you understand my meaning...

It shouldn’t be hard to criticize terrible officiating without bringing gender, race, or politics into it, but some folks just can’t help themselves.
The entire officiating crew was terrible because they all missed those PI calls.

She was behind the play, tough for her, should have been another that saw it. Claiming DEI may be the worst take of the month.
the commentary said she was behind the play, replay shows not so. she happened to have had a bad game imo with calls that could have been the difference in APP losing. hope we will be fortunate and not see her ever again.

Oregon State isn't a bad team

If I had a critique from yesterday’s game it is very clearly how Loggains called plays the entire fourth quarter. Our defense was really struggling to slow them down and with a 27-21 lead we got the ball three times. The third time was very late and we were really backed up so that was a little different.

But the first two he had nothing besides a draw to Dubionion. Did we gain five yards the entire fourth quarter? It’s so strange because our offense was moving it all day. Even getting a field goal on one of those two series probably puts the game away but wow he coached scared. I know Kohl was only 13/28 but he made some good passes and never really put the ball in harms way. Stark difference from Charlotte when Dowell kept looking to score. He got very lucky our defense stepped up or else this would be the story of the day imo.

We did have the fumble for a safety .
But technically we recovered it, so it doesn’t count as a turnover, although it basically functioned as one

I see it as an improvement. lol

Only giving up 2 points offensively, even though it may have been an option a few plays later.

A memorable game , for a lot of reasons. Fourth quarter defense when it had to make the play. I don’t recall anything like it in my time. Officiating was the worst in a long while. First start for Kohl and his recovery of the fumble shows the kind of football player that he is. With all that , if Stroman catches that sideline pass , which he should have, we likely run away.

D showed out when it counted. 2 ints and a goal line stand. I was giving them crap in the thread but they won the game for us

Berchal is a player.

Regardless of Oregon State’s record, and our offensive performance late, we need to savor this dub. Watching on the terrible ESPN+ broadcast I could hear that this was an awesome environment coming off of an embarrassing loss. The goal line stand and late defensive stops give me so much home, and I’m excited for conference play when it felt hopeless a week ago. Great win.
OSU opponents were 21-2 before this game
Well, now they’re 24-4. Still pretty stout.

4th Q play calling on the 2 drives not backed up to the end zone were awful. Loggains called a good game up until that point. You're right, a couple 1st downs and 1 FG and this game is over.

Loggains strikes me as an intelligent guy so hopefully he learns and next time he calls up 3 high probability plays to get 4/5 yards a piece and seals the deal.

I thought Loggains was calling offensive plays. It seemed to me the defense was on the field for the entire 4th quarter except for 6 plays? So not not much play calling going on.

The defense in the 4th was pretty amazing. I expected them to be gassed and for the Beavers to roll down the field aftet that safety. But they held up. Great work.

Which was his fault. He sat on a 6 point lead the whole fourth quarter and didn’t remotely try to put the game out of reach

One critqiue I have as someone who cant make many games and usually isnt home in the middle of the day on a Saturday to watch TV is why hasnt the App radio broadcast been on the Varsity app lately? This is three straight games where I have had to listen to the other team's broadcast. (well really two since I turned off Boise early). Those Beav guys were a couple of sadsacks - I guess covering a team going 0-6 will do that to the radio guys.

2nd quarter was a little bad playcalling, too. We have 5 plays in a row where we threw it downfield. I know our RB had 98 yards, but felt we could have leaned on him more than we did. Lewis played well also.

And there it is. Even in victory, the negativity takes center stage.
