Are teams keying on Barnes now or is he not 100%, production and targets really dropped yesterday.
Dozier got good separation yesterday and made great in route adjustments.

I would think, if not 100%, he would not have fielded punt returns and tried to advance them up the field.

Re: Oreg St at 3:30pm - Discussion
Teams have been trying to take away the middle because until yesterday, we had not shown the ability to take the outside effectively. Having a receiver like Dozier helps with that. Stroman is not nearly the same type of threat as he is. It’s also twice as hard to attack the middle when they are taking it away and bigger than we are like Boise St and Oregon St. I’m expecting a better game from Barnes in Atlanta. It is also close to his hometown.

You wanna know why we lost this game? This game wasn’t lost today, and it wasn’t lost by athletes in uniforms. It’s much deeper than that.
Tiny App St… doesn’t accept losing. They are winners.
We were winners from 1998-2014. When Andersen was brought in so was an era of apathy, penny pinching and mediocrity.
The apathy of keeping Tibisar 3 years longer than needed. The apathy of no one being held accountable for the gross incompetence of this coaching staff!
App St wouldn’t do that, they fired their coach for a losing season last year. One 5-6 season in Boone, and you get shown the door."
I know it hurts to hear it out loud our firing who we fired, but it is nice for someone else to say that we are winners.

Is Mbake back? I saw something floating around that NCAA cleared him?ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:23 pmTeams have been trying to take away the middle because until yesterday, we had not shown the ability to take the outside effectively. Mbake is back and played a few snaps wearing #3. Similar to Dozier, he’ll likely have a ramp up period. Dozier’s ramp up actually started against USM, but he did not see any game action. I would expect a similar trajectory for Mbake where around game 3 (CCU) he could make a bigger impact and potentially overtake Stroman if he keeps dropping passes.311neers wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 7:10 pmIs Mbake back? TLDR, sorry if someone already posted this but what TF are we doing handing out rally towels and doing “Sandstorm”? Towels are a fine giveaway, but come on…are we really ripping off USC’s best known tradition? Small minds came up with that one.

Per AI..44k appears to be applications
The final enrollment number for the 2025 academic year at James Madison University is not yet available. However, the university saw a record 44,782 undergraduate applications for Fall 2025, representing a 7% increase over 2024, and the total enrollment for Fall 2024 was 22,879 students (21,112 undergraduate and 1,767 graduate).

Roll Neers and rushing the field against an 0-5 team are top level cringe. At least we beat USC in their house, so could say we took their tradition as the spoils of victory.

Agreed, but I'll take rushing the field against an 0-5 team over roll neers any day.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 9:27 amRoll Neers and rushing the field against an 0-5 team are top level cringe. We’ll probably run out to enter sandman next home game. The funny thing is we had some pretty built in traditions of our own already and worked to shift from them. I guess back in black and hells bells were too Boomer

They can storm the field, pass out towels, play whatever kind of music they want to matters not to me. JUST WIN! I am a proud boomer, only thing I do miss is that buglers dream on kick offs has lost its pizzazz. Otherwise play on kids!Seattleapp wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 11:27 amWe’ll probably run out to enter sandman next home game. All of these teams have approximately 85 scholarship players so what difference does it make if there are 40,000 or 20,000 students? It’s more about budget size and of course, NIL.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 7:52 am...Never judge a man at parade rest...NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 7:18 amI wouldn’t say we’re tiny…we’re smediumMcLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 10:00 pmTiny.
