35,000 (including temp bleachers) x $10?/shirt = $350k
Or just GOLD LED the lights for $500k and turn everyone GOLD whenever you want!!!! (after 4pm).
(This is a joke I know it’s not happening)
35,000 (including temp bleachers) x $10?/shirt = $350k
Get a business or businesses to sponsor the shirts and it will pay for itself.
Not that Boise does it better, but they had a plan for all six games before the season started. Stripes by section, white out for App, etc.
That first point is key, and I feel like App has done that in the past. People need time to buy a new shirt or whatever to prepare for stuff like this.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 9:40 pmNot that Boise does it better, but they had a plan for all six games before the season started. It's really simple to do via the website (if you are in to that sort of thing). https://broncosports.com/documents/2025 ... h=football
My Dad won a Brandon Grier jersey from an auction a few (several) years ago. I believe that jersey is gold, or App’s version of Gold which is that brighter yellow color. Think it was from the lower level FCS opponent that year but I don’t remember whom. Maybe Jacksonville? The mighty dolphins?NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 4:23 pmHow many people on here own a gold (yellow) jersey?
When your social media doesn’t have the market penetration and friends don’t let other friends know, it’s an issue.
You are right! It should not be that difficult. Go get a gold t-shirt and wear it to the game. Anyone who doesn’t get the message or doesn’t have a gold shirt at the game? Perhaps we (App State) could have one available. Advanced planning for anything is of course paramount.ericsaid wrote: ↑Wed Oct 08, 2025 7:27 amWhen your social media doesn’t have the market penetration and friends don’t let other friends know, it’s an issue.

So here is a plan, if I could get a trademark pass, I’ll go design and print 10,000 yellow (gold) App shirts and set up shot outside of the stadium. If I could get them at an all in price of $1.50 per shirt, I’d sell them for $5 a piece. Boom, stadium is all wearing the same shirts.
Now, my idea is exactly what the University should do, and why advanced planning of these color outs are so important.

That is the main issue for this. Those not on a message board/x won't do it and part of those that do see it won't do it, especially since it isn't suggested by the administration.
I think it would need to be something planned before the season to have any chance at success. I have plenty of gold for any time they want to have one.
Yeah a longer lead time for it would give it more chance of success.BUTCH1991 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 08, 2025 8:05 amI think it would need to be something planned before the season to have any chance at success. I have plenty of gold for any time they want to have one.
